that's a 4% increase from last year. 34 million by car and 2.5 million by air. a potential headache for drivers heading to the shore. the bridge connecting sea isle and avalon is blocked off. construction workers are weeks behind on the townsend inlet bridge. drivers have to go out out of town to route 9 or the parkway to get from sea isle to avalon. state police have unveiled their new so-called ghost cars. they have a state police emblem and state trooper text. they will blend in so they can catch people who drive recklessly. they caused such an uproar online, state police took to social media to discuss them.

a taxi and motorcycle collided on the schuylkill expressway the man on the motors cycle was taken to the hospital where he died. nobody in the cab was hurt. the firefighters battled a blaze south broad street. the blaze broke out on the second floor of the three-story building. no word on the cause of the fire. two popular beaches in california will remain closed through the holiday weekend because of an oil spill. while crews rails to clean up the oil wildlife officials are working around the clock caring for a number of affected animals. >> reporter: this is one of 6 brown pelicans being cleaned up at the center for oiled birds in
