but the big story on "action news" as a young girl is critically injured after being shot in the barrage of bullet while sitting on a porch. it happened late last night in port richmond. tonight the 13 year-old remains in critical condition at temple university hospital. that is where we find "action news" reporter annie mccormack with the latest situation, annie? >> reporter: walter, family of that 13 year-old girl did speak with us today but there are still concerns for her safety and only wanted to use her first name diamond. but they tell us she's a fighter and she was responsive after her surgery but they want police to find the two men, who they think are responsible. >> somebody come here ape no something. >> reporter: plea from the aunt of the 13 year-old girl shot in the stomach by a stray bullet. the victim was on the front porch when chaos unfold in the 3500 block of shelton street midnight saturday. police found more than a dozen shell casings within the block, bullets went through the second floor bedroom

window and riddled at least three vehicles. >> they just went pop pop pop, pop and one after the the other. >> reporter: resident outside described two men running down the entire block firing away. >> i saw the the guys running and you know i didn't see their faces but i know they ran. there was no tomorrow. >> reporter: saturday east detectives returned to question neighbors to look for video and also, totaled damage vehicles for potential evidence. long time neighbors adore little will diamond. >> she played with the little kids on the block. she is an adorable person. >> reporter: diamond's family has this message for anyone with any information. >> at the end of the day now you know, me being a rat, me being a snitch it is not about that. it is about being a hero because the at the end of the day when they are grown adult this was a kid. >> reporter: at this point there are no named suspects. only description that police have is, vague and that the two suspects did have jackets

or who had ease tied over their heads. we're told that little diamond did have one bullet in her abdomen, that caused a lot of damage, to major organs. she's expected to be here at temple for some time. reporting live outside temple university hospital, annie mccormack for channel six "action news", walter? >> all right thank you annie. man in his 20's is in critical condition at penn presbyterian hospital today after being shot in the stomach in southwest philadelphia earlier this afternoon. it happened in the area of 70th and elmwood avenue just before 2:30. no arrests have have been made. police in philadelphia also investigating an overnight shooting in the logan section of the city this one happened on the 500 block of west duncannon street, a man in his 30's was sitting in the corner when he was hit four times in both legs. he was rushed to einstein in stable condition. no arrests have been made and no word of a possible motive at this time. a young, new jersey state trooper was killed during a car crash early this morning. he a and his partner were driving on 195 in upper

freehold township when their squad car hit a deer. "action news" reporter dann cuellar is live in the satellite center with details dann. >> reporter: new jersey state police calling it a tragic loss for their family. his family calling him a phenomenal young man with the heart of goal. state toe boheas lease identified trooper killed as 24 year-old anthony raspa based out of the hamilton county station. he a and his partner 29 year-old gene hung were on patrol on i195 in upper freehold township when their cruiser struck a tear dear at 12:48 this morning. >> the car veered off the road in the wood striking some trees. one troop her who died, he died immediately. the other trooper fortunately sustained relatively minor injuries. he has already been check out and released from the hospital. >> reporter: spokesmen captain steven jones says troopers were traveling east bound on the stretch of highway in monmouth county when their ford crown victoria struck the deer no other vehicles were involve. raspa was a graduate of the

152 class that graduated in october 2013 and lived in middlesex county. in a statement his family a says in part anthony was passionate about law enforcement and took great pride being a new jersey state trooper. he will forever be in our mind and in our hearts. >> the the last traffic fatality state police suffered was mark castleanos and that was on interstate 195 in 2010. >> reporter: authorities say that the last new jersey trooper to die while on duty was james hoops who died in 2012 after suffering a heart attack. anthony raspa family member say they are appreciative of the love and support. live from the sat center i'm dann cuellar for channel six "action news". an autopsy will be performed on the body of a baby brought to the hospital, inside of a duffle bag. authorities think that the baby boy was born on thursday, inside of a home on the 5800 block of norfolk street in west philadelphia. police are not saying who but someone brought the baby to the hospital, of the

university of pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead. family friend tell "action news" that the the 22-year old mother was possibly five to six months pregnant and lived in that home with several family members. she is also hospitalized. no further information is being released at this time. authorities have determined that a man who was killed and stuffed in the suitcase in delaware county died by blunt force trauma. he suffered a stan wound also to the neck. body of the scott was discovered thursday on second street in tinicum township, by a man walking his dog. the death had been ruled a homicide. anyone with any information is asked to call 911. is there big changes coming to septa services in delaware county in just a few weeks. two major will trolley lines are being replaced by bus services for at least a few months. it will affect route 101 and 102 lines between 69th street and end of each route. buses will pick up commuters starting on june 15th and continue through september 6th. the cuss are being told to plan for an extra ten to 25

this morning. it benefits health problems for low income families this event has become a three-year tradition. well, time for a check of the accu weather forecast with meteorologist melissa magee and it is still spring but feeling summerrish. >> it had has been feeling summerrish for past couple weeks, walter. very warm and stick toy day. that is the big difference. we will talk about the changes in the weekend. storm tracker six live double scan radar. it is dry and quiet in our region but off to the north and west harrisburg, pottsville, they are tracking very light scattered showers and thunderstorms. a lot of them say they will drift off to the north and east and then stay mainly west of the i-95 corridor. we will talk about specifics in a moment. outside we will go, sky six live in hd down the shore in atlantic city. still a cool place to be on a very warm day, cross inland locations. as at the shore currently temperatures in the 60's. people enjoying the ocean there and also the beach and the sand.

so frontal boundary draped to the north and showers and storms are starting to break out in advance of that frontal boundary that will continue to work its way east ward. future tracker six has this it is up and covered for the rest of tonight. 8:00 o'clock it is mostly cloud which a pop up shower or then are storm again mainly north and west of the 95 corridor. this cold front will get closer and closer as we go throughout the overnight hours. so on sunday at 6:00 in the morning some spot the showers are likely mainly north of the city but that cold front will try to get closer to us and with that said, 7:00 o'clock in the evening there could be showers and storms, and hopefully much needed rain, without the possibility of any severe weather. none the the less biggest threat tomorrow will be damaging wind and some, possibility of some small hail depending where this frontal boundary sets up. it looks like best dynamic tomorrow once again will be north and west of the city. if you are traveling down the shore, it is still a chilly daze in comparison to inland locations. sixty-eight, with sunshine giving way to increasing cloud, most of the day
