biden. forty-six year-old was surrounded by family this evening as he lost his battle against brain cancer. former attorney general of delaware was just 46 years old. beau biden first sought medical treatment in a cancer center in houston after feeling weak and disoriented. they had a small lesion removed from his brain. in the spring he sought treatment again and was admitted to walter read earlier this month. in addition to his time in public office, biden worked to establish the rule of law in war torn kosovo and also a major in the delaware national guard, and iraqi war veteran and awarded brandon star. three years ago world witnessed a touching moment between beau and his dad at the democratic national convention in charlotte. >> so tonight mr. chairman, it is migrate honor to place into nomination, for the office of the vice-president of the united states, my father, my hero, joe biden. >> president obama released a statement saying joeys one of
