in some case this is slowing you down produceing a lot of ponding and puddleing on the roadways in a hurry. flood advisories are everywhere except newcastle and near maryland where it has caused flooding on roadways. to the west doesn't look like much going on. once we get into the afternoon hours another round of rain is developing and that will be every bit at heavy as what we're seeing this morning. muggy like over the weekend. 61 allentown and 65 sea isle city and 71 millville and 68 in wilmington. as we head out the dpoor to catch the school bus. some are dealing with rain otherwise cloudy and muggy temperatures in the mid 7 0s by 8:00. as we roll through the day welcome back to school kids and it's finals week for a lot of you high schoolers in particular. muggy on the way to school. 75. by noon 81. high today is likely to be 83 at around 2:00 this afternoon.

blaze on the corner block of pickley place has displaced total of 19 people. and the fire began in a vacant home and damaged three neighboring homes. firefighters found heavy fire on first and second floors of home when they arrived or one of the homes. that fire then spread along the roof line. a fifth home was damaged by smoke. another home on the block was damaged in a fire last week. >> had a fire here 420 that's still under investigation. this is still under investigation also i cannot comment as far as cause and original sin concerned until police do their job. >> red cross is helping those displaced. fire crews are he remain on the scene. >> developing overnight pottstown firefighters battling multi-alarm blaze and landed one of their home own in the hospital. flames and smoke damaged a building walnut and north york. i firefighter suffered minor

now, good morning. >> when we saw this shot earlier you remember the traffic was stuck here and this is closure point. that's why you're not seeing traffic here. this is stuck traffic right here that's been stuck there for miles because they shut blue route northbound down shut down at broomall exit 9 and are on the heavy rain we had and poor drainage in that area caused flooding so much so the cars could got get past. we saw that backed up traffic now nothing northbound on the blue route because they officially shut it down stopped cars from enteringing blue route northbound to she can get the crews out there and remediate the flooding. when a mess. broomall, exit 9 in upper darby. southern is there's flooding issue ouz but we can see traffic. heavy hain moved through this area. not that it's raining too much now but they had a short amount

of water in a short period of time. >> i want to show you how to get around this. you may think i can take 1 southbound to 2352 i would not can that we have a downed tree in that area also represented to heavy rain. we have police on hand directing traffic on the scene. that will back you up. route 1 media bypass at 252 right at the point you may get on 252 to avoid the klosh oar you can't because of downed tree. you can take 320 which runs parallel to blue route. that's your alternate. they have crews trying to alleviate the flooding. we can see on waze app how backed up we are at miles an hour on the blue route as i scan ahead everybody talking about flooding at this point on the blue route near broomall. this person reporting it. southbound but southbound still on it's northbound they shut down and that's the mess that's created right here. you can see on the way up too on the blue route northbound it's a mess with flooding causing

problems can also see heavy rain happening now and lightning strikes currently. and we see that near route 42 and near 55 watch for that and parts of gloucester and camden counties as you get closer to the shore areas of red, heavy rain. as we look at blue route this is blue route here and we can see heavy rain is lifted from that area. but, still within the region. i want to get to one more problem in the area we'll look outside live. we mentioned heavy rain and 42. watch for it now. 42 northbound slow traffic matt. >> thanks karen new video on "action news" looks like a screen straight out of the ducks of hazard. the surveillance captured black footage of black sedan flying over cars and crashing into a building. they believe the driver may have refused pedals in the car hitting accelerator rather than brakes. the driver was transcripted with
