officials in new jersey are investigating two car fires within minute ands blocks apart. and nsa has exposed major holes at check points. what is next for the agency now that the official is denoted. the big story is a bomb threat called into philadelphia airport, shortly after passengers were escorted off the plane in a remote location so police could sweep the aircraft. katherine scott is live now at philadelphia international airport, with the very latest. >> this is part of a larger threat authorities were taking it very seriously and working to determine who was behind it. it was a hoax, phone threat and not a funny one. >> the all clear came an hour and a half after u.s. airways

flight from san diego landed if philadelphia this morning. the fbi, philadelphia police and bomb squad was called in cookie was one of the 93 people on board. >> there was a bomb square and everybody had to take their purses and bags and put them on the tarmac and get on a shuttle. >> the plane safely landed at 6:15 a.m., they walked down to the awaiting shuttles clutching their carry-on luggage. they had receive aid phone call say tlg was an explosive device on board. >> there were other flights across the country that were mentioned in the threat. >> k-9 units were called it and all the lug able had to be lined up and the and tire plane was swept from top to bottom. >> i wasn't really scared i wanted to get home.

just outside of philadelphia straight up to allentown unreading, at what is nuisance rain but as you get into the areas highlighted in yellow west of the allentown and hamburg that is slightly steadier rain and that is pushing up and away from our area. down south just spotty precipitation. where you don't see the grown you may see drizzle, as we take a look outside, cloudy skies of course across the region including in center city, we look across the river beyond the ben franklin bridge toward camden and northeast philadelphia 55 degree you may want to grab a jacket probably for the rest of the afternoon the winds north-northeast at 15 miles per hour, the dew point is below the 60 degree margin, that doesn't feel all that humid out there but on the damp side, 55

in wilmington and 54 in trenton and 57 in millville and all of these cool numbers accompanied by the dank feel and also a bit a breeze dropping down from the northeast, here is the breeze, 14 miles per hour and down the shore, single digits the idea is there is cool air coming down from the northeast and we aren't going to add a well lot to the temperatures, record rainfall in spots, 1.9 inches and 3.8 in wilmington and over 2 inches in atlantic city. all of these record one day rainfalls for june 1st since we were taking records that goes back quite a ways. in terms of rain the rest of the way, it wants to try us out after 3:00, the rest of the evening looks cloudy with perhaps some drizzle or showers. we won't be able to shake the cool air though or the dank feel, up in the lehigh valley

around 60 neighbors close to allentown in the upper 50s and spotty shower can't be ruled out and down the shore a spotty shower and a high of the same story, low 60s and not much different at the shore in philadelphia, a high of 61 and cloudy and cool and drizzle and 54 is the jove night low with spotty rain overnight and fog developing by morning, taking a quick look at the evening commute, we have temperatures on or about 60 with the shower activity continuing, if you head to the phillies, temperatures hold to the upper 50s throughout that game against the reds. some neighborhoods are holding in the 50s and tomorrow cool and 68, and normal chance of a spotty shower around south of philadelphia, but the farther north you go toward the lehigh valley better chance of seeing the sun yes breaking tomorrow afternoon and thursday we have mostly cloudy skies again
