you know if we hear of any charges in this accident. >> there's a manhunt underway in delaware county for a man who ran from officers after a traffic stop leaving a toddler and a gun behind. "action news" reporter, katherine scott is live outside upper darby police, katherine. >> reporter: matt, police in upper darby and philadelphia police were out searching for this man, they say he was on his way to pick up his girlfriend from work in havertown when police tried to pull him over. the search is on in upper darby for man police say fled officers and left behind a 3-year-old boy and a gun. it began around 7:00 p.m. in west philadelphia. police pulled over an impala that had an emblem blocking the license plate. it stopped and then sped away. along west chester pike officers spotted driver running behind an apartment complex.

when police returned to the child they spotted a young child in the back seat and handgun in the front. police say the suspect was on his way to pick up his girlfriend from work, police say the car and the little boy are hers. >> we're fortunate that the boy did not pick up the gun it's not holstered, and it's clearly loaded at this point. >> reporter: police are not sure why he fled whether it was the handgun. they tell "action news" that the girlfriend is cooperating with police. >> a woman is in serious condition after being stabbed in berlin township, camden county. police say it happened during an domestic altercation in haddon avenue. the major crimes unit was on the scene investigating. there's no word on a suspect. and the man convicted of killing an off-duty police

especially north overall clouds ruling the day. 56 degrees in trenton, 58 in wilmington. 56 in allentown. 58 in millville. 58 in sea isle city. we're looking at cloud cover for the most part, future tracker 6. sprinkles and showers trying to nudge into philadelphia most of them through the morning and afternoon stay down south. 6:00 p.m., cloudy, sunny breaks here and there. the allentown the farther north you are the better chance you have of seeing sunny breaks, mostly cloudy and cool and 65 in the lehigh valley. down the shore lots of clouds and spotty showers at times but by no means a washout. in philadelphia, mostly cloudy, the showers staying south of the city. 67 degrees is the high. if you see rain in philadelphia today it should not last long and it won't be all day. 60 degrees by 8:00 a.m. 64 by 11:00 a.m. the high around 2:00 p.m. when we hit 67.

city captured images of a suspect moments before he shoved a transgendered woman. police say the man approached the 28-year-old woman and said what are you looking at. he grabbed a plastic bottle and threw it at her and pushed her on the track. another ryder helped the victim get back on the platform saving her life. the woman suffered minor injuries. baltimore police say they are changing the police advance. 6 officers were accused of putting freddie gray in the van and driving at high speed. they are going to pup up in partitions and side doors and cameras. all van drivers have been retrained since the gray incident. they are going to add gps tracking to the van. the phillies make a sweep when they wrap up their series

upper darby police say a driver who just left a court hearing for a careless drive violation crashed minutes later. surveillance video captured the scene on tuesday the yellow car veered off the road and slammed into a store on west chester pike. the vehicle narrowly missed the man sitting on the bench. upper darby police call him the luckiest man to be alive. maybe get a bike or just walk. >> reporter: we found that accident, shot is not looking good, this is the schuylkill expressway westbound approaching gulph mills, the crash taking out the right lane. we have reports of it first with the waze app. police have arrived on the scene. right lane blocked expect slowing coming west at the blue route. clayton gloucester county construction continuing for the next 40 minutes along 55 north of little mill road.
