>> good morning 6:00 a.m., we have breaking news, chopper 6 is live over the new jersey turnpike, as you see there a problem has some of the southbound lanes in bordentown shut down. >> that overturned truck caught fire and spilled diesel all over the road. the driver suffered minor injuries and being treated at the scene. we'll get word from david murphy in a moment, but first matt pellman is filling us in on the crash.

>> reporter: the truck did flip over and it did catch fire, they called in a heavy-duty tow truck. they may be preparing to upright the trailer portion of the tractor-trailer. fire crews are on the scene and several lanes. southbound new jersey turnpike is closed. the scene is bordentown approaching exit 7 for route 206. you have the right lane coming back, you have to come to a quick stop there, southbound side, outer driver drive is open it's the inner drive that's restricted in burlington county. as you can tow maps you can see where it is, we're not seeing major delays even though a couple of lanes remain blocked. we're seeing major delays on the schuylkill expressway, westbound side by gulph mills the crash is confined to the shoulder.

if you use the schuylkill expressway westbound to head to king of prussia, do that, the delay is thinning. to the north in plymouth meeting our lady of mount carmel church. we have a crash on 422 westbound side past sanatoga, that's off to the ride. the ramp to to the eastbound side is closed for long term construction. the ramp to the vine was closed, it's open now but starting to stack on the westbound side of the vine like every single morning. what's going on outside david. >> reporter: not much traffic to hinder sun glare not many clouds around. the roads are dry as you can see from the array of matt's cameras. in delaware and southern chester county there's a line of showers. that will be the pattern today showers popping up from the south and trying to make a run

going before stopping. a witness who did not want to be identified described the impact. >> i heard the impact, it was heart stopping you could see the cars hitting and sliding you knew what happened. >> it is unclear if there will be any charges in the fatal accident. we'll let you know once that word comes in. in delaware county there's a manhunt underway for a man who ran from officers after a traffic stop leaving a toddler and gun behind. katherine scott is live outside up he shall -- upper darby police. >> reporter: police in upper darby and philadelphia police are searching for the man. they say he was on his way to pick up his girlfriend in his girlfriend's car she is works in havertown. the search is on for the man police say fled officers who left behind a 3-year-old boy and gun. it began around 7:00 p.m. in

west philadelphia. police pulled over a chevy impala the car stopped arena sped away. along west chester pike officers spotted the driver running behind an apartment complex. >> i saw the guy running around the corner. >> reporter: when police arrived back at the car she spotted a child in the back seat and handgun in plain view. the car and the little boy are the girlfriend's. >> we're fortunate the boy did not pick that gun up it's not holstered, it's clearly loaded at this point. the individual is careless. >> reporter: police are not sure why he fled, the investigation continues, if you have any tips, they tell "action news" the girlfriend is cooperating with police. live in upper darby, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> new this morning, a woman is

in serious condition after being stabbed in berlin township, camden county. police say it happened on the 100 block of patten avenue. the woman was found in front of the home and rushed to the hospital. the major crimes unit was on the scene and investigating no word on a suspect. water damage forced the city of bethlehem to shut down two downtown businesses. it caused ceiling tiles to fall at the stores on broad street. two others businesses have minor damage but remain open for business. streaming is the word as we getting a check on market watch we'll go over to maribel aber live at the nasdaq i'm sure some people didn't want hbo to keep the thunder. >> reporter: no. let's start with stocks, investors wait for may jobs reports, futures report to a lower open.

nj turnpike southbound side in bordentown where the truck flipped over. as you can see now from chopper 6 the fire is out fire crews came in and got the fire extinguished. that's good news. they have the heavy-duty tow truck in there, as well to hopefully tow away what's left. the tractor portion of the vehicle is disintegrated. you can see one lane getting by the outer drive of the roadway available to you, it's not causing a huge delay but it's something we're keeping our eyes on this morning on the turnpike. the gloucester county getting word of a new crash northbound direction approach 2 for 322. speeds not too bad but we're watching that, as well. cherry hill, construction
