construction crews cleared along the pennsylvania turnpike, westbound near willow grove eastbound near willow grove all lanes reopen in both directions. we have down pole and wires at willingboro, bridge borough street right and center lanes are closed because of down pole and wires. of course in wilmington we have the viewing and funeral services for beau biden, in one hour a bunch of different streets will be blocked until tomorrow afternoon. >> developing this morning, an off duty philadelphia police officer was forced to pull his weapon when two robbery suspects walked into a pizza shop. "action news" reporter, katherine scott is live along 1600 block of rising sun avenue she's got more. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, tam we're told that the detective is assignedded to the northwest division he is being interviewed by internal affairs which is protocol when an officer charges

his -- discharges his weapon the off duty detective was the only customer inside the store, he had just ordered when two men went into rising sun pizza. one of them had a gun. they put the gun to the detective's head and took $20 out of his hand and forced him to lie on the floor. two robbers turned around to the counter where the employee and the owner were standing. that's when the detective identified himself and pulled out his gun. one of the suspects fired two shots at pointblank range he missed. the officer fired back. one collapsed in the parking lot and died. police believe he was the one who fired the shots. >> we still have the off-duty detective and above both of the pizza shop employees identified the

body as the person who seconds before was inside the store committing the robbery and firing the shots. >> reporter: and back here live you can see the front window of the shop is shattered from the shootout that happened inside the close quarters last night. it's lucky the owner and the detective and other employee were not hurt in all of this. apparently there are surveillance cameras inside and outside the store so all of this is caught on camera. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thanks katherine. a private jet made an emergency landing at philadelphia international airport minus it's nose gear. it was on its way from new mexico to chicago. the jet flew by the control to your to confirm the probable and came back to land. >> there will be an airport vehicle and emergency vehicle following you down runway 9er

charges. so far no charges have been filed. a 1-year-old boy from virginia is in police custody in a a lot of trouble. he skipped school and took his father's pick up truck on a joyride. another driver saw the truck driving erratically yesterday afternoon. they found two guns in the truck. officers contacted the boy's parents who had not noticed that their 12-year-old was missing. he is being held in the juvenile facility in north carolina. >> labron james returns to the nba final. it was a thrilling game. regulation ended in a 98-98 tie. the warriors went on a roll in overtime. labron scored 44 points. the reds beat the phillies
