>> good morning let's go over to david murphy with accuweather good morning. >> reporter: it was a beautiful day, but after today it could be stormy. we'll have shower activity that will clip the poconos this morning. foorlt to the west there's a cold front -- farther to the west there's a cold front that will get closer. we'll see a thunderstorm later today and tonight. storm prediction center in oklahoma has the region in the low risk for a gusty storm to develop later on. the best chance of this is up in the northern suburbs reading poconos, bucks and western chester county. it's not out of the question that they make it down to the i-95 corridor, however. 65 degrees, more muggy morning that will have a bigger impact later in the day. as you step outside to catch the school bus on what is the last week of school for a lot of schools. 62 degrees by 6:00 a.m.

scaffolding and broke a window to get inside the window. let's go to the video police taking out two suspects not too long ago, they were found on the 18 flew. k-9 units were called in. police were flagged down around 1:30 after debris fell in the street. what exactly happened is unclear. police are not sure whether the men were throwing something possibly bottles out a window or if they through something out a window and the broke on the street. the 21 story liberty trust building is owned by wheelen property. they are in the process of restoring the certified buildings which will be querpted into a hotel -- converted into a hotel. the convention center is next to this, nobody was hunter by the falling debris. it's all under investigation two people in custody. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thanks, katherine.

the driver accused of striking and killing a teenager in philadelphia's hunting park section is going to be charged with homicide by vehicle. adelso matos was riding his bike, he hit the teen, the 20-year-old driver stopped. witnesses say there were beer cans in the car. many at pennsville will be wearing blue and gold today in support of a classmate who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run. kyle pszenny kyle suffered serious head injuries and multiple fractures of his leg.

>> it is in god's hands now i hope to god that he pulls through and he is okay. >> a windshield wiper motor from the striking car was found at the scene. police traced the serial number and identified it as a hyundai alantra. the striking vehicle has heavy front end damage. if you have any information call police. chaos ereptured outside a -- erupted outside a hip hop concert. the crowd was upset when the road was blocked by police in riot gear. police were forced to deploy tear gas. authorities have not said how many people were arrested or injured, but one officer was hurt. >> now to a developing story a

frantic search is underway for two dangerous prisoners who managed to break out of a clinton correctional facility a maximum security jail in new york. you're looking at richard matt and david sweat who pulled off a shawshank kind of escape and left a he he he kind of note. >> reporter: two convicted killers are on the run and authorities are offering $50,000 for each prisoner capture. >> we'll leave no stone unturned. >> reporter: the two discovered missing after escaping from new york's largest maximum security prison in upstate new york. the pair using contra ban power tools to break through concrete walls steel bricks and pipes 6

something for those in school they might get home before this stuff starts to happen. >> reporter: looks like the best chance would be the evening. if you're in allentown reading which you will see in a moment, 5:00ish. as we look outside we're looking at clouds giving way to sun in the morning and clouds getting thicker later on. as we take a look there's the penns landing area and the ben franklin bridge, failure overcast for now. the temperature, 65 degrees currently, a beautiful weekend feeling comfortable with the dewpoint down to 55 degrees. that will start to change during the day partly because the winds are coming out of the south through the morning. they are at 7 miles per hour

now, that will raise the humidity as we go through the day. in terms of storms there's the chance of something sweeping through the poconos early this morning probably by 9:00, after that we're looking at the sun and clouds mix. as we get past 12 up to 5:00 p.m., there will be thunderstorms gathering north and west of philadelphia, we can't totally rule out something starting to pop into the lehigh valley, reading the city of lancaster. it's later in the evening hours when we expect the stuff to drop through, all because of a cold front heading our way to the north and west. most of the strong activity will be to the north and west suburbs, you can see the model is producing this down into the i-95 corridor by 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. there's a chance that some is pushing toward the shore with remnant thunderstorm activity to the north and west. what are we expecting out of this although several fairly high risks the second, downpours, these could produce

drenching downpours in the humid air we're building up today. i would look for localize the flooding and strong gusty winds in areas where the strongest storms happen to form. there's a moderate risk for large hail, while we're going low for isolated tornados i can't rule that out especially north and west of philadelphia, the poconos, lehigh valley and berks county. 67 by 8:00. 76 by 11:00. 2:00 p.m., 83 and warm of high of 85 around #-- 3:00 p.m. everybody warm up in allentown 84. 85 in reading. a lot of mid 80s all the way down to the shore where we'll hold in the upper 70s. everybody warm and humid. tomorrow it's another mix of clouds and sun with potential for pop-up showers and thunderstorms, as you can see late runs on the model don't show as much tomorrow.

the strawberry mansion section of the city. the young man was hit by a car around 10:00 p.m. he was last reported in critical condition at hanheman university hospital. massachusetts police are trying to determine if a car that blancked to a new england patriot was involved in a hit-and-run. police found brandon spikes mercedes abandoned with front end damage. the driver of the vehicle told an on star rep that the vehicle struck a deer. but responded to a hit-and-run crash involving a nissan in the same area. no charges have been filed. the team is aware of the reports. officials in a texas community are dealing with the fallout from an officer pulling a gun on an unarmed teenager.
