karen. we have an overnight accident that's causing problems in newport delaware. 141 has just reopened they cleared the accident scene at burnside boulevard. traffic is moving better. i-95 near the delaware state line northbound traffic is coming out of delaware. if you're heading toward the airport. roads are clear and dry no problems on i-95. on the big picture overall your majors are in good shape. we have showers and thunderstorm near allentown and areas north of that. the rest of the roads appear to be dry. police activity in hunting park north franklin street chef shut it down between lycoming and hunting park avenue. stick to 9th street to avoid any delays there. >> we're starting with breaking news, philadelphia police are looking for two men who shot a 22-year-old woman in the face. this happened inside the house on the 4100 block of north

franklin street in hunting park. stay with "action news" and 6abc.com we'll bring you the latest. two men are in police custody after an alleged break-in at a center city construction site. they climbed scaffolding and broke into a building through a window. that intersection was shut down with glass on the road. it's not clear if they were throwing things from the buildings or the broken window shattered on to the road. police brought in k-9 officers they captured the suspects on the 18th floor of the building. nobody was hurt. >> the driver accused of striking and killing a teenager in the hunting park section is expected to be charged with dui and homicide by vehicle. adelso matos was riding home last night. witnesses say the driver ran a stop driver and hit the teen.

the 28-year-old driver remained at the scene. someone at the scene tried to administer cpr but it was not enough to save adelso matos. students at pennsville high school will be wearing blue and gold to support a student who was hit by a hit-and-run crash. kyle pszenny was hit yesterday morning and suffered serious head injuries and multiple fractures of his legs. >> a nice kid makes everyone smile. >> it's a shame it's in god's hands now, i hope to god he pulls through and he is okay. >> a windshield wiper motor from the striking car was found at the scene. police traced the serial nbl and identified it -- number and identified it from a hyundai

alantra. >> the search is on for two killers who made an escape from a maximum security prison with power tools. >> reporter: two convicted killers richard matt and david sweat are fugitives on the run authorities are offering 50,000-dollar for each prisoner for their capture. >> they could be anywhere, we are leaving no stone unturned, but they will be found and apprehended. >> reporter: the two discovered missing after escaping from new york's largest maximum security prison in upstate new york the two using power tools to break through concrete walls and still grids and pipes 6 stories high and crawling out of a manhole and getting away. >> it's impossible to think this was not done without someone both inside and outside

the prison. >> they are killers. they are extraordinarily dangerous. >> reporter: richard matt serving 25 years to life for kidnapping and beating a man to death and dismembering him. >> reporter: david sweat killing a sheriffs deputy and shooting him 22 times. police are sweeping schools searching houses and checking cars for the dangerous duo who left behind this note telling authorities to have a nice day. this is the first prison break in the facility's 170 year history, but officials say one of the fugitives richard matt has escaped from another jail before back in 1986. elizabeth hur abc news new york. >> where are they? although a little bit gray. 65 degrees in philadelphia. 65 in allentown. 61 in wilmington, 62 in trenton. low # -- 60s down the shore but not bad for the morning stroll on the board and the humidity is not that bad. as we roll through the day we'll see changes. future tracker 6 shows we're dry up to noon with sun and clouds. humidity will start to build so it starts to become more humid. a cold front gets closer so by 5:00 p.m. there's the chance in the northern and western suburbs places like the poconos especially allentown and reading a pop-up shower beginning to develop. we think we'll probably have to wait until the evening hours for thunderstorms to start to pop. while they don't necessarily hit everywhere, where they do they could produce gusting winds and heavy downpours by 11:00 p.m. tonight it is moving toward the shore. notice the drenching downpours.

"action news" reporter katherine scott arrived at a breaking story a woman shot in the face in a philadelphia neighbohood. katherine. >> reporter: that's right, matt we are told the woman is 2 # -- 22 years old shot in the face. police are searching for two suspects in hunting park on north franklin street. the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear. we are told she was shot in the face and rushed to the hospital by police and remains in
