breaking news story. she vanished after taking a bathroom break in the woods. katherine scott has more details on the disappearance of sarah wills. >> reporter: police have expanded their search, they hope because it's light out that will help in the search of the wooded area. police have been here for hours overnight sweeping the woods with flashlights, you can see them trying to find this young lady. here's a picture of sarah wills. 5'9" 511 pounds, marine halter top -- maroon halter top and jean shorts. her father was driving her home from a concert to upper dublin.

he stopped along germantown avenue she went into the woods and did not come back. s.w.a.t teams used thermal imaging, a helicopter search from above but they have not been able to torched her. >> she left her cell phone in the car before he she exited the car, so we can't call her. we contacted male friends as well as female friends as well as other family members and no one knows where the female is. >> reporter: back here live along germantown avenue where the police remain on the scene she found her purse and personal items which her parents confirmed were her. she has not turned up. police want to hear from you if you have any tips. >> heavy smoke and flames damaged a building in north philadelphia. fire broke out on west girard avenue at 1:40 a.m.

investigators say the fire started in the girard grocery and spread to the apartments above. nobody was living in the apartments. firefighters did evacuate a family next-door as a precaution. they were allowed to return home. no reports of injuries. >> police are looking for a southwest philadelphia store clerk who shot a customer after an argument. surveillance video shows the attack. the store clerk claimed the customer's 20-dollar bill was a fake. she began to argue and the store clerk shot the customer in the back and hand. >> the victim is 38 the offender is 45 to 50. these are not kids, these are adults. >> the store clerk fled and hadn't been seen since. he is believed to be in his 50s he goes by the name of pablo

torres or rodriguez. lawmakers vote 119-71 to condemn the policy and under the governor to revarsity. rereverse it. the water is back on for residents and business business along 10th street in south philadelphia. it may not stay that way. crews were repairing a water main break when something went wrong. they were able to get the water on last night. it would be repaired for months so be prepared for rolling water throughout the summer.

>> good morning matt, stocks rallied yesterday with the dow and the s&p 500 posting their biggest one day gains in more than a month. futures are reporting a mixed open. los angeles has passed a 15-dollar hour minimum wage, 66% jump in pay for workers in that city. the l.a. city council approved the move from $9 now to $15 over the next five years. the move is being watched to see how companies react. new parents at virgin will be receiving generous maternity leave. eligible workers could receive a full year of paid leave after the birth or adoption of a child only for those working in london and geneva.
