was unlocked and the little girl wandered to the fond and fell n police and paramedics are called to the scene at 6:42. >> when we arrived there were several people from the party who were that retention pond near the property and we're looking for the girl in the water. she was found fairly quickly and removed from the water and the ambulance arrived on scene and transported to christianne hospital. >> paramedics say she was non responsive when she was transferred to christianne hospital. there has not been any updates from the hospital on her condition so far tonight. and the key question is whether the date was supposed to be locked but could have prevented this terrible tram di. live at newark police head quarts ers in new castle county delaware, dann cuellar "channel 6 action news." >> thank us dann. >> tense standoff in port richmond today and when over two were dead after apparent

murder-suicide. this unfolded 2:00 this afternoon on3500 block emerald street. investigators respond todd reports of gunshots inside a home there and when they pulled up someone inside that home opened fire on police. two patrol cars were hit. no officers were injured. a swat team quickly arrived and surrounded that home and neighbors were he vac yaitsed including little children seen running from homes right there. officers then heard another gunshot inside. >> we insert aid robot with camera and the robot did identify there were two victims down and quite obviously dead. >> those victims were two men one whom was believed to be the gunman. no word tond on the other man's identity. >> moving to the accuweather forecast. cooler today but still warm. that trends continues as you look at the possibility of popup thunderstorms in some locations. meteorologist melissa magee is at the big board with first check of the accuweather forecast. >> melissa. >> walter. it was not about the start to

>> new tonight five people were injured when a begun went off during a wedding this evening at the waldor of estoria. a bullet rick shade and grazed a 55-year-old's woman's head. others were hit by glass. police arrested the man and the gun has not yet been recovered. >> police in dallas texas dealt with a dangerous situation after a man opened fire in headquarters and told he planted explosives outside the building as well it all started past midnight. the suspect fired on the

building repeatedly and then fired on officers who drove up to confront him. he then took off and police were able to corner him in a parking lot after a standoff. investigators shot and killed the man and explosives were safely detonated. investigators think the suspect blamed police for losing custody of his young son. >> we're learning new details tonight with how the alleged accomplice of two escaped inmates may have helped them. 51-year-old joyce mitch sell accused of helping matt and sweat dig out of their cells last week. court documents say she provided pair with tools including hack saw blades, chisels punch and screw driver bit. she since plead not guilty. we'll have more on the search coming up in the next half hour. >> well, more than two years after her father's day a victim's daughter is turning to you for help. here's rick williams with tonight's crime fighter's
