we are live at his preliminary hearing. and a man wanted for carjacking and robbing a priest in south jersey. but first search for three people that shot a man during a robbery. the man remains hospitalized after the robbery in the logan section of philadelphia. but despite his injuries he was able to give information on his attackers. katherine scott joins us live from the crime scene. >> reporter: that is right the victim remains in critical condition at the hospital but before he passed out he told police three people were behind the attack, two men and one woman, the attack happened right here on this corner neighbors around here are shocked. there were some witnesses and they were taken to northwest detectives to be interviewed. >> my husband was watching the

basketball game and heard the gunshots. >> attacking and stabbed and robbed. police were called to logan last night, officers found a man on the sidewalk bleeding heavily. >> he had stab wounds to his back and at least one gunshot wound to his thigh and puncture marks in his face. >> he was conscious and able to speak to officers. >> when police found him and picked him up from the sidewalk he was talking and said he was the victim of a robbery. >> they stole his watch cell phone and wallet and detective were out this morning talking to witnesses. they want people to be aware of what happened last night. i'll call an immediate block meeting just to alert the neighbors of what is going on if

they haven't heard and to be mindful and cautious and careful. >> reporter: there is one of those nearby cameras that police are hoping to pull footage from, and the suspects fled towards somerville. they believe he is a man in his 20s or early 30s, but you again this remains under investigation and northwest investigators want to hear from you with any tips. philadelphia police are also looking for a man that killed his wife in a house on the logan section. the man told his family he told his 29-year-old girlfriend at 7:30, authorities found her dead in a front bedroom and they are still trying to find the weapon and suspect. there is new video of two home invasion suspects who put a bag over their victim's head and put him in the van at gun

bit and the rain near washington and pittsburgh and that is on the way for tonight and into tomorrow. lets look at the temperatures now, we are warming up 82 degrees in philadelphia, went up 2 degrees the last hour, only 70 in pittsburgh and 72 in buffalo cooler to the north and west where they have the rain, and how about the dew points this morning they were in the 50s and we bumped up to 63 degrees in philadelphia, that means it's not oppressive, but any time you have 60 to 65 degrees it's slightly humid. but a break from the weather the last couple of days, if you want to head out today why not. plan your barbecue. less humid today than it was yesterday. a good amount of that sunshine and increasing clouds through the afternoon but still really nice, by 5:00 p.m. 89 degrees

karen is here with your accuweather forecast had. what a difference a day makes. >> yes humidity has dropped since yesterday and it feels better and some sunshine stayed behind the clouds and stom-showing us we are dry in the area, and we are getting rain later on tonight though. lets go outside and see what is looks like right now lets go to the beach it's just that kind of day live in cape may, sky 6 hd i don't see anyone in the ocean yet. the umbrella is blowing a bit. a nice sea breeze kicking in as well. temperatures 82 degrees rights now in philadelphia and the dew point 63 and yesterday dew points were in the 70s, we feel a big difference with the humidity and winds to the east at 7 miles per hour, and the pressure is holding steady satellite 6 along with action radar showing we are in the clear all morning and some high clouds streaming in and the rain
