pradelli is live near the scene of the crash at lower moreland township. >> reporter: the accident happened not far from here on the turnpike, you can see the highway behind me and the dogs were brought here behind me to the parking lot to the lower moreland municipal building the cams left behind are badly dented and banged up. fortunately most of the dogs are doing well this evening. >> these little puppies are on the mend after a nasty crash on the pennsylvania turnpike, they are getting tlc from the bucks county spca most of them are in good condition, good weight and some of them are very lively and others are traumatized by the situation good i have worked here more than 40 years and we never got this before. >> a van carrying roughly 80 puppies for a commercial breeder was involved in a wreck near the

willow grove exit, two puppies didn't survive but most did, the spca is crediting firefighters for the quick action i was so impressed by the firemen because they got the call at 4:30 in the morning and were out in the road getting the dogs out of the van and helping the people out of van. pennsylvania state police say that a driver and a passenger in the van suffered minor injuries and are being treated at a local hospital, the dogs headed to the spca where young volunteers allene and ryan work to calm the puppies as they head to pet stores in new jersey. >> it was crazy and i was helping the dehydrated ones and the ones that were not feeling too good. >> how are they doing now? >> a lot better. >> this go is not moving a lot? >> he is tired. >> they have been through a lot and fortunately little puppies are resilient.
