lp from firefighters and volunteers to help them cross this is the current you can see of the water that is still gushing out. you can see it over my feet, but right now are you locking at video that is taken today of children getting assisted by firefighters out of that shop-rite, we are told that an announcement came over the loud speaker, people were told to leave their things in place and get out of store this ruptured at 2:45 today and it's about a 48 inch water main break. we talked to shoppers that were at the store today and here is what they had to say. >> we were in the store shopping and over the intercome came everybody had to evacuate the store because of a water main break. we had to leave our groceries there, couldn't check out. had to immediately leave.

>> the water started to come and i said let me move my car, but by that time all the water started coming all the way down. >> to give you an idea, how fast this water is going this is pouring out of shopping accepter and the water company is not been able to turn off the water at this point we are told they are on scene and expected to do that soon, firefighters are telling me the current can take me away a little bit. this is fox at huntington park and rob are thes, that is where the bulk of this water is twoing and this is effecting a bus route and the water is lessening up not because there is less water pressure, because the water has breached railroad tracks that are behind the shop-rite, whichever railroad that is i am told that may be affected as well. we are expected to hear from the water department soon to hear

man that came and sat in church for an hour before suddenly opening fire and killing nine people. >> there is something particularly heart breaking about a death happening in a place in which we seek solace. >> a tip left them to the 21-year-old driving two hours away in north carolina. the accused killer told one of the three survivors he let her live to tell others with what he did and now telling detectives himself in custody being questioned about this hate crime. >> we woke up today and the heart and soul of south carolina was broken. south carolina's governor moved to tears remembering the six women and three men killed. including senator pinckney the

beloved pastor of this congregation. >> police have now opened up the road in front of the church just on the other side of that crime scene tape there is a big pile of flowers left here today by people stopping by to pay their respects. >> and within the last hour we learned the names of all the nine victims. reverend clementa pinckney and rhonda singleton and others were cynthia herd and reverend depain middleton and susie jackson and daniel simmons and my ra thompson. people all over the country are feeling this tragedy and it is true in our region, the methodist episcopal church was founded in our area.

that is where a water main break has forced businesses to evacuate. let go to annie mccormick for an update. >> you can see the water is still throwing at the same speed it was a half hour ago the water going down here on fox road this is between roberts and hunting park. this water is not turned off just yet i'll walk over here and show you the rest of the shopping center this is the baking center it's six stores affecteded you can see the

shop-rite they put out sandbags and kitty litter anything to keep the water from coming into the shop-rite, below the planet fitness, we are told a number of those stores have water inside. we are told that the water main happened at 2:45, a 48 inch break, a number of people had to be helped out of shop-rite, kids and adults getting piggy-back rides, we are told that there was announcement over the loud speaker telling the shopper to put their bags down and get out. that was at 2:45 today. a number of shoppers said they left bags behind and the groceries behind and they did get help. there is still a number of people sitting along the sidewalk some of them not wanting to walk across the water here firefighters are on scene to help the people on their way out.
