humanity. >> i would imagine that when this guy walked in he was the first person to it welcome him into the church and then if there was a sense of concern he would be the first one to try to defuse the situation. >> mother bethel ame church was spawned in the 1930s, he knew reverend pinckney well sfwh i have known him as least the last nine or ten years just a great person state senator and outstanding person. >> mother bethel is holding an inter faith service to honor the victims tonight here at historic mother bethel at 7:00. >> the outpouring from christian churches and jewish brothers and sisters and muslim brothers and sisters have said we can't keep this to ourselves.

a couple of local pilots took off today for an epic cross country race made up entirely of women pilots. they will be flying in the air race classic next week. the race is more than 2500 miles and it begins in virginia and stops in eight cities before ending in alabama. there is a $10,000 prize but the

one of the dank drizzly days, here is cecily tynan and accuweather. >> tomorrow is a light broughter and warmer. not a lot of rain going on here there are storms north of baltimore but as they move to the east they encounter cooler air. here is fairmount park, everything is really grown we received 4 inches of rain and we are making up for a very dry may. temperatures show the story. the warm front is down to the sound and west and that is keeping us on the cool side. 73 so far and our kusht temperature and high for the day is 11 degrees below normal. sea isle city 71 degrees.

the warm front will lift north of our region overnight and you'll notice scattered shower activity and most of it is dying out, i can't rule out the possibility of rain this evening, temperatures are dropping down into the 60s, the big focus on our weather for the next several days is this, this is what is left of tropical storm bill, in northeastern oklahoma and this is definitely going to have a major impact on our weekend. i want to show you something we as meteorologists look at all the time, the 500 millibar analysis, 18000 feet up this is where the magic happens and that shows the energy of bill it will take a while to get here, the energy stays together in the form of tropical downpours, we'll deal with very heavy rain on sun especially early in the day the potential for 1 to 3 inches of rain and
