examined possible new clues to a motive. beautiful new mural graces a neighborhood in philadelphia in honor of dad on this fathers day weekend. but the big story on "action news" is a stormy night coming our way. today's humidity was already source of pop up storms in part of the region but as night turns to morning torrential downpours are headed our way. meteorologist melissa magee follows the situation with storm tracker six double scan radar as she joins us live with the accu weather forecast melissa. >> walter, we are finding scattering activity popping autopsy across delaware and lehigh valley. storm tracker six live double scan radar, showing spotty activity in north and west of philadelphia even showers moving out of ocean county. there is a a cluster to the south of wilmington and north of dover. you can see we have a severe thunderstorm warning posted for new castle and also, northern kent counties as well there in delaware. this stays up until 6:15 this evening. really for middletown, townsend to the north and west of smyrna. we will track it on storm tracker six live double scan street level and you can see

showers and storms for the most part are moving north east at 15 miles an hour, and we have about six lightening strikes, with this cluster that we're tracking within this past 15 minutes. so torrential rain is a big concern with the showers and storms as they move on through and winds in excess of 60 miles per hour. but the feature we are tracking overnight tonight and second half of our weekend on sunday. here's storm tracker six live double scan radar. this is remnants of the bill, and this will continue to work its way eastward as we get in on overnight and first half of the day on sunday. we will talk about what we can expect as that moisture moves on through from the north eye ease direction. key timing into sunday morning it looks like 10:00 p.m. tonight through 6:00 a a m sunday we will track that moisture. one to 3 inches on have rain lightly and isolated locations where we could find 4 inches of rain. strong showers and storms will stay to the south of the city. we will have that flood watch for most of our region into early tomorrow morning. we will have future tracker

site and provides a disturbing glimpse into what may be the mind of a killer. "action news" reporter john rawlins is live in our satellite center with full tea tails, john. >> reporter: feds have not yet said if they can connect that manifesto on the web site it was on to dylann roof or whether it was work of the third party. it purports to be his word and said he came to his world view, in the wake of reading about the george zimmerman/trayvon martin homicide case. there are a a lot of photographs on that web site, at least when that web site was up at least one of them came or at least appears to be similar to one on his facebook page. these are photos from the web site, showing dylann roof in numerous posts. in one a burning american flag another one shows him holding a confederate flag. new york times, web site set up february 9th registered to dylann roof of south carolina a the next day that information, was intentionally masked. the site reportedly contains a rambling offensive rant

written in the first person. published portion of the manifesto begins with the racial slur that defames blacks, other parts support segregation and condemns integration. at one point writer challenges other white races taking them to task for their in action, quote we have no skin head, no real kkk no one doing anything, but talking on the internet. someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and i guess it has to be me. the web site discovery comes a day after roof was arraigned for murder of nine black church members who had welcomed them to their bible study group wednesday night. last night at this basketball a arena 4,000 people attended a prayer vigil coming together trying to make sense of the deadly tragedy. law enforcement sources had said roof a 21 year-old high school drop out, told them he hoped his actions would spark a race war. again, the feds have in the been able to link that manifesto in the web site, to roof, at this point in time. it appears that web site has

been taken down at this time. in the meantime the church where the nine people were killed have announced it will reopen tomorrow and hold a sunday services. live from the sat center, john rawlins for channel six "action news". >> thanks, john. victims of the horrific shooting are being remembered at houses of worship across the nation this weekend. here in our area today congregation at greater mount zion ame church prayed for those victims and their families sharing their grief. in center city this morning several people showed up to protest what they see as a rise, in racist violence. that demonstrators representing several groups, showed up standing in solidarity, with the victims of the church massacre, and their families. world news saturday will have the very latest on the church massacre including updates on the investigation following "action news" coming up at 6:30. moving on to other news tonight, overnight shooting in the city's frank for section ended with a death of the 50 year-old man. investigators say a bit past 1:00 a.m. victim was shot in

the alley way near his home on the 5700 block of leonard street. after he was shot the victim stumbled home and through his back door. family members quickly called police who rushed him to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later no word on a motive and no arrest at this time. eastbound lanes of the pennsylvania turnpike had to be shut down this morning after tanker truck caught fire. it happened at 7:30 in bensalem. the truck, loaded with 2700 gallons of home eating oil, simply burst into flames as you can see thereafter the crash. the driver was able to escape uninjured. the turnpike was eventually cleaned up and reopened a bit past noon. meanwhile there was another crash a few hours earlier in the same general area. this smoldering wreckage is what remains of the tractor trail their overturned and caught fire this morning. rig was coming down the street road exit of the turnpike when it flipped over and caught fire. this driver was also able to get out without injury. former delaware news room, construction crane toppled

over in wilmington this morning creating quite a mess as you can see the crane was operated for operation or prepared for operation, on the 1100 block of king street when the cable system snapped. the street had to be shut down while crews put the rig back together and then moved it out of the way. luckily, nobody was injured. there is an amazing new mural in philadelphia's kingsessing section unveiled in time for fathers day this new mural is at 55th street and wood land avenue. it is called fathers and children together, and was created in partnership with men inside of graterford prison. design was conceived with input from the inmates, their children, and community members. the aim of the project is to help fathers incarcerated reconnect with their children. almost 1200 pints of blood were collected at the tenth annually bleed for preston and steve blood drive. serves in the air force. sandra and her daughter have not been able to keep up with needed repairs so volunteers are also helping update the plumbing, install new appliances and redo the floors. well, campaign against bullying was behind a cherry kick ball event today in montgomery county. brandon mcmahon us, currently a kicker for the broncos grew up in hatfield and played football at temple. he partnered with the non-profit organization to put on this event. he says he was inspired by a youngster ago news first told but back in april. dominic carpino has had to fight cancer and bullies. he posted a message calling out his haters on instagram. that message has since gone viral on line.

tropical storm bill, it will be working its way eastward essentially overnight tonight and first half of fathers day on sunday. we will talk with the details of that storm tracker six live double scan radar showing you pop up activity right now to the south and west of philadelphia and storm tracker six live double scan radar. we will go in tighter on street level and you can see those showers and storms, no longer severe. they are in new castle and kent county and delaware but five lightening strikes associated with this cluster from middletown, townsend and to the north of the smyrna. these showers and storms are tracking north east at 15 miles an hour. even light rain showers, from wood town down to bay side, there in south jersey. this is just the beginning. we are tracking the remnants of bill, we will work their way eastward overnight tonight and sunday. with that moisture on the move we have a flood watch that has been posted at 8:00 this evening lasting right through sunday flooding is a big concern for all of the delaware and lehigh valleys. other part of the story today is that we had a temperature

currently of 83 degrees. when you factor in the heat index it feels like 88 in philadelphia. eighty-six in wilmington. much cool are to the north of the front. north of philadelphia just 70. allentown cool, comfortable. poconos is 62. seventy-five beach haven. but 84 down to the south in dover. here's satellite six with action radar. lots of cloud around. this is counterclockwise rotation that is currently coming out of the ohio valley that will continue its journey to the east and a when that arrives, we do have moisture that will be working its way from the west/east direction. future tracker six timing it out for you. 10:00 o'clock tonight you can see heavy rain setting up from lancaster, even up through the poconos. this will continue as we go throughout the overnight hours at 12:00 a.m. this is tropical moisture overhead. keep in mind we have dew points in the lower 70's so all of that heat and building humidity clashing with what was a a tropical system. so torrential rain on the way. at 5:00 in the morning those showers and storms, for trenton, all the way down that
