coming in the coming hours. sky6 severe weather is headed our way and could bring heavy rain gustsy winds, hail and isolated tornado. saturday night i'm walter perez and the big story on "action news" is stormy night developing and that rain will not let up for many of us until after sun advise tomorrow. let's move over to meteorologist melissa magee she joins us with storm tracker 6 double scan radar. melissa. >> there's a lot of moisture in the atmosphere tonight. showers and storms are popping up in philadelphia areas south and west. stormtracker 6 double scan radar showing you activity light to moderate even heavy rainfall across the region and i want to focus into activity down in delaware and this is where we have severe thunderstorm warning until 11:30 tonight. this is for kent county and just to the south of dover we're also getting reports that the fire fly music festival is evacuated because of the strong showers and storms moving on through. it's just south of dover into woodside and harrington and

was going around and gunfire erupted and shot gun was involved. lieutenant john walker west detectives explains. >> right around 10 p.m. there's a large party going on the block and there's somebody turns the corner one has a shot gun. shots are fired. we have seven people shot at this point two kids one-year-old and one 10-year-old both children's critical at this point and-year-old shot in neck they're arriving at children's to do a survey on the individual and the other five between 15 and 25 at pen presbyterian being treated at this point. >> as we say a lot of confusion here and they're on the scene trying to sort out what happened. it's not clear if there were more than one gunman if he was in a car on on foot. there's conflicting stories about that. we'll say the police have been

feeling with state police searching your backyard for murderers. >> they show up and st. police are not around they're not leaving. >> the pair could be awk walking south to pennsylvania state line. there's a 50,000 reward out for the capture of matt and sweat. >> a manhunt for another escaped prisoner is underway in new orleans after she shot and dild the officer transporting him to jail. and investigators say travis boys was handcuffed behind his back in the squad car and was somehow able to get hands in front of him, grab a gun and shoot the officer. the car then hit a utility pole and boys got away. investigators don't know how boyds got his hands on the gun and they add they do not believe it was the officer's gun. what's expected to be emotional morning services will resume tomorrow at he man all african methodist episcopal church for the first time since the massacre. there's a growing memorial of flowers and balloons for the

people gunned down in the church. investigators are coming through a web page containing what's described as racist manifests owe that may have been written by dylann roof. the alleged killer once joked of shooting up charleston college. >> i don't think the church was primary target. he told us he was going for the school. i think he could not get because of security and all that. much more on this story including look at the church and congregation coming up in the next half hour. >> more than 1,000 people showed up in philadelphia's kingsessing neighborhood to help keep the peace in their community. it was philadelphia rapper brown's third annual stop the violence kickback party. the event was designed as a day when violence simply was not allowed in his neighborhood.

it included a fashion show and several father's day tributes. >> eastbound lanes of pennsylvania turnpike had to be shut down this morning after tanker truck caught fire happened 7:30 bensalem you see the video there. the truck loaded 2700 gallonsch home heating oil burst in flames. the driver was able to escape uninjured and the turnpike was cleaned up and reopened a bit past noon. meanwhile another crash in the same general area hours earlier smoldering wreckage remained of the tractor-trailer that overturned and caught fire this morningch rig was coming down the street road exit of turnpike when it flipped over and caught fire. this driver was able to get out uninjured. >> 1200 point of blood were collected at 10th annual i bleed blood drive. trish hartman show with donors who showed up to give and meet favorite sgloingts lucas kahne is eight months old and this is

thunderstorm warning kent county until 11:30 and showers and storms firing up for philadelphia and points south and west. stormtracker 6 double scan radar showing things are starting to light up as well across our region. we'll show severe thunderstorm warning with cluster of activity south of dover delaware i want to go in tighter on street-level with stormtracker 6. you can see south and west of philadelphia in media moderate pockets of rainfall and charts ford and i-95 and wilmington dealing with pockets of moderate to heavy rain same thing across interior sections of south jersey this is just the beginning of what seems like tropical moisture. one could probably call it that as it works west to east across the region. we have a severe thunderstorm watch that stays up until 1:00 in the morning and then flood watch until 8 p.m. sunday for all the region localized flooding is big concern as we go throughout the rest of overnight hours and first half of the day tomorrow.
