winds whipping and transformers exploding and no match for tornadoes. >> there are whole houses down and we need units over here. just southwest of chicago even first responders were trapped and they rushed to get people to safety. the house was shaking and i could hear things breaking and i thought it was windows and it was coming out of my medicine cabinet, and areas of leaking gas, propane tanks turned over and broken gas lines and certain areas here that are not safe, in portland michigan one tornado ripped off roofs and sent a semi into a store and a steeple down into a church and five planes were destroyed at an airplane hangar, there are no serious injuries or fatalities and more than 70 million americans are in the path of those storms again

we continue to watch the severe storms, in berks county and northern lancaster county, move of the area at this point is dry and the western suburbs beginning to see the leading edge of the squall line developing in central and southern parts of pennsylvania a new severe thunderstorm warning issues until 5:45 p.m., southern parts of berks county including chester county and lancaster county as well as northwestern parts of green lane, and royersford, and the main problem is the winds in excessive 60 miles per hour and quarter size hail reported on route 222 west of loyola and heading towards birdsboro and honey brook in the panel path of this particular storm. 120 lightning strikes and near
