donald trump pulling the plug on the miss usa show. angry over comments the billionaire made about mexican immigrants. and how the donald is threatening to fight back. we do say good morning, america, on this friday morning and it's a very busy friday morning. we have so much to get to. we wanted to begin with that breaking news of the a deadly terror attack at an american company in france. at least one person dead. several injured at the gas factory. abc's brian ross joins us with the latest. good morning, brian. >> reporter: good morning, robin. this happened in the last few hours. here's what we know. the gas factory owned by an american company, air products and chemical near grenoble was the target. two men run into the factory on a vehicle hitting several gas canisters setting off a number of explosions. a man was beheaded and the detap stated head was found on a factory gate. they found black banners with arabic writing and a note was left behind.

several injured and france's anti-terrorist unit is overseeing the investigation. one of the men who carried out attack was arrested another still at large. this comes just after the "charlie hebdo" magazine massacre in paris just less than six months ago. isis leaders have repeatedly called for attacks inside france, robin. >> all right. >> horrific scene. we have another breaking story. overnight that plane crash in alaska. the aircraft carrying passengers from the cruise ship on a sightseeing tour a very popular destination for american families this time of year. abc's neal karlinsky has the latest. neal, good morning. >> reporter: david good morning. the cruise ship left from this pier in downtown sale and was nearing the end of a week-long agoing aen cruise. the pilot and eight passengers on board were on a small sightseeing plane at the time when something went terribly wrong. this morning, ntsb officials heading to the sight of a deadly plane crash in the remote alaskan mountains. a float plane like this one

slamming into a granite cliff near the city of ketchikan on thursday killing all nine people on board. the small aircraft on a shore excursion for passengers of this cruise ship "the mms westerdam" before going down. the coast guard and local search teams working into the night hampered by bad weather and dangerous terrain. >> it's a very steep terrain. it's an area they were concerned if they went in on foot they might trigger a rock slide. >> reporter: we spoke to one of the passengers on board after the ship finally left port. >> i would say that they judged correctly the mood of everyone on board and have just sort of made it a little bit more low key than it would have been. >> reporter: in 2013 in the same area another float plane went down. the five on board surviving. >> it's too early to even speculate as to what might have happened because these are well-known routes flown by qualified commercial pilots who know the route like the back of their hand.

>> reporter: i can tell you i've flown on a similar plane in the exact same area. they are very common there this time of year except when there is bad weather. the ntsb will have a go team on site to look into that or whether there was mechanical or some other problem. >> so many questions. thank you very much. now to the severe weather, more flooding concerns this morning across the midwest and ginger i know you're tracking all of it. >> the latest pictures. look at marshall missouri east of kansas city. this is what the treat looks like in a lot of places. you can see right here st. louis got one round of storms, up to 5 inches of rain falling close to st. louis and just a couple of hours and then they're going to get more. it's happening this morning and i'll show you what's going on. the radar from the last 24 hours plotted but severe storm reports. more than 200. we also added all the flash flood and flooding reports, quite a few, we're talking more than 100 in the last 24 hours. that system still moving to the east through kentucky western virginia, but there's more to come. that same region under flash

flood watch from missouri to pennsylvania west virginia northern kentucky you're all in it and severe weather could come along with this so remember damaging wind louisville, nashville all on alert today. we'll watch it throughout the day. >> thanks. we'll get to the major victory at the supreme court for president obama. the justices upholding a key part of obamacare, the president declaring this latest win is a sign his signature health care law is quote, here to stay. but his opponents are not backing down. abc's jon karl is live at the white house for us, jon, this is the second major victory for the president on obamacare at the court. >> reporter: and this is a big one, david. it means that more than 6 million people will not lose subsidies they get to buy health insurance and on the last major legal challenge to obamacare president obama won a decisive victory. at the supreme court obamacare supporters were jubilant about the court's decision. at the white house, hugs and

high-fives throughout the west wing and a triumphant president in the rose garden. >> after multiple challenges to this law before the supreme court, the affordable care act is here to stay. >> reporter: for the second time it was chief justice john roberts, a conservative appointed to the court by george w. bush who ruled to uphold the law saving president obama's signature domestic achievement. in a scathing dissent, justice scalia accused the court of bailing out obamacare writing "we should calling this law scotuscare." the president may say the battle is over republican presidential candidates say it's just beginning. >> mark my words, following the election in 2016 this chamber will return and we will repeal every word of obamacare. >> reporter: jeb bush tweeted we need to repeal and replace obamacare empowering individuals to make their own health care decisions. from mike huckabee, obamacare

ruling is judicial tyranny. but many republican leaders are privately relieved by this ruling david. those 6 million people that would have lost their subsidies to buy health insurance, most are living in states ruled by or governed by republican governors and republicans were deeply guided about what to do about it. >> a historic decision 24 hours ago. you'll be standing by because we could get another decision from the court on same-sex marriage? >> reporter: yeah this absolutely an historic one. the decision could come this morning. the question here the court may resolve is whether or not same-sex marriage is a constitution constitutionally protected right. david, this will be watched very closely here at the white house. the president is now firmly on the side of making gay marriage a constitutionally protected right and quite a journey for the president. as you remember when he first got elected he first opposed same-sex marriage. >> a busy day for the president. >> yes, he is. he is traveling to charleston

this morning for the funeral of pastor and state senator clementa pinckney one of the victims of that church shooting. the president will deliver his eulogy. but with thousands gathering there are some fears of unrest this morning. abc's byron pitts joins us now from charleston. good morning byron. >> reporter: good morning robin. because the president and vice president will be here security will be very tight. authorities are already extending the security perimeter every hour now until the start of the service. as mourners by the hundreds are already here. this morning, president obama traveling to charleston, south carolina to deliver the eulogy at the funeral for reverend clementa pinckney one of nine people gunned down during bible study in the emanuel ame church shooting. ♪ hundreds of mourners already paying their respects to the pastor on view to the public in the south carolina statehouse this week and now the family of accused killer dylann roof releasing a statement apologizing to the families of

the victims of the shooting this historically black church, we would like to take this time to reflect on the victims and give their families time to grieve. we are truly sorry for their loss. as they fear growing unrest after the initially peaceful reaction to the tragedy last week. this statue of confederate jefferson davis vandalized. >> the baptist church on breyer creek road is on fire. >> reporter: on wednesday charlotte officials calling the fire that left this predominantly black church in ruins arson, the second black church to go up in flames this week. in macon, georgia, god's power of christ church also burned to the ground tuesday. investigators saying that too was arson. more than 5,000 mourners are expected here and president obama expected to carry out his familiar role as comforter in chief. david, robin, back to you. >> should be another emotional day in charleston. >> the shooter today and

concentrate on the families and faces. >> that's what it should be. to new details on that prison guard who was arrested for helping those escaped killers. a newly surfaced interview with gene palmer is revealing what life is like inside that maximum security facility. abc's linzie janis is in malone new york with that story for us. good morning, linzie. >> reporter: good morning, robin. palmer also accused of letting those inmates rewire electrical bocks to help them cook in their cells, a favor he told police he did in exchange for something from them and in this interview he talks about tactics used to control prisoners. this morning, new details about the corrections officer charged with bringing contraband to inmates richard matt and david sweat. 57-year-old gene palmer telling police he had no idea about the killers' estate plot saying the items he gave pliers a screwdriver and art supplies were in exchange for paintings and information from matt on

illegal activity by other prisoners. he spoke about a barter system at the prison in an interview with north country public radio 15 years ago. >> when we talk about gangs, that's one of the most challenging things that we have here. usually we have a rat system where well we know you're going to do this we're going to tell and that's how we suppress a lot of things around here. >> reporter: in that he described life as a guard at a maximum security prison giving his view from inside the clinton correctional facility talking about the hierarchy among inmates. >> there's a man, he's a convict here. i believe he killed his wife if anybody was to come up to him and say, give me your lunch money, he could make the right calls and things would be quickly clarified on who is the boss out here. >> reporter: calling his job extremely difficult. >> with the money that they pay you you'll go bald you'll have high blood pressure and you'll become an alcoholic and divorce and then kill yourself. it's a negative environment. >> reporter: this morning matt

and sweat still running free. police scouring these dense woods and swampland looking for clues. and for the first time abc news able to get closer to that hunting camp where the men were believed to be hiding out. this trail running under power lines for roughly 20 miles from the prison all the way to that cabin where police found their dna on food. that food peanut butter that was several years old and with those killers still on the loose this morning, a children's summer camp in the area forced to cancel its first week. david. >> all right, linzie janis who has been on this for day, thanks. a major health headline. lawmakers in california approving one of the toughest mandatory vaccination bills in the country. the law would require parents to vaccinate their children before accepting them to kindergarten regardless of religious or personal beliefs. more from dr. richard besser. what does this mean? >> yeah this is big news on the vaccine front.

all states require children to get vaccinated to go to school and they all allow an out if a child has a medical reason like cancer that would make vaccination difficult. but in some states it's easy to get out of vaccination requirements. in many states if you have a religious exemption you don't need to get vaccinated and in 20 states if you personally don't believe in vaccination you can say no but california experienced a big measles outbreak last year and decided to take action and say medical exemption fine the others you need to get vaccinated. >> you've been practicing for years before becoming a medical editor. a lot of parents feel this should be a personal decision. >> as a pediatrician i face this question all the time. you know the thing is if it were just affecting your child i could see that. but the problem is no vaccine gives 100% protection and so you count on protecting a classroom by all of the children being vaccinated. for measles for example, you need 95% of children to be vaccinated to ensure that an outbreak won't happen in the

school. in california as many as 25% of kids aren't getting vaccinated so california is saying if you don't want to vaccinate you have to homeschool. >> tough words. all right. rich besser with us thanks. we're going to get to dan harris with the breaking news involving hillary clinton and e-mails again. >> that's right. new questions about her use of private e-mail as secretary of state. the state department says clinton fayed to turn over 15 e-mail messages that dealt with the security situation in libya. the republican lawmaker heading the investigation into the attack on benghazi called them omission omission significant and troubling. civilian drones blocking the firefighting in california. flames broke out in san bernardino threatening homes but water drops were stopped because drones were flying close too tanker pilots and the lake fire actually grew after illegal drones interfered forcing tanker planes to turn back around and land. a wild chase on the freeway

of southern california. the guy hitting speeds up to 115 miles an hour and finally stopped when he ran out of gas. then he laid down and waited to be arrested. and here's another stunt gone wrong. he attempted a long jump in the subway in new york city. as you can see he falls short slamming into the platform then he quickly scrambles up from the tracks unfazed and apparently unhurt and we hope unwilling to do that again. a month after calling off her wedding bristol palin now says she is pregnant with her second out of wedlock child. palin is not offering any other details including the father's identity but admits it's a huge disappointment for her family and asking for privacy for herself and her 6-year-old son. all that stands between the u.s. women's soccer team and the world cup semifinals is china. the two countries play tonight in ottawa. the u.s. hasn't lost to china in a dozen years and has never failed to reach the semifinals of a major tournament. much more about the team coming up in our next hour.

one last note here, on a day when high temperatures are in the news check out this belly flopping bear beating the heat in an animal sanctuary in florida. his name is bruiser. he's a 3-year-old grizzly. you'll see he climbs out shaking it off, t. swift style and if you stand by he's going to climb back up that ladder and just boom into the water again. it's brilliant. >> it's warm. >> as a diver yourself the number of people on youtube saying they watch this and want a bear themselves. >> no no as a psa, bad idea. that grizzly is going to grow to 600 pounds. you won't like what he does to your couches. >> just watch me dive. i can do a much better belly flop. i have some news everybody. this is kind of scary. at a rehearsal for that magic show a dangerous trick that went horribly wrong and world famous magician criss angel came racing to the rescue. abc's reena ninan has the story.

>> get him out! >> reporter: this is the terrifying moment an escape artist trapped inside a tank full of water suspended 30 feet in the air unable to breathe or get out as others frantically try to free him. one of those horrified onlookers, world famous magician criss angel jumping on to the tank to help pry it open as the tank is lowered on to the stage. the illusionist trapped inside is spencer horsman, rehearsing a stunt wednesday for a las vegas magic show "supernaturalists" when something goes horribly wrong. >> there's this. >> reporter: horsman who shot to fame on "america's got talent" can be seen face down and motionless inside the locked tank filled with water. >> this is like life or death. >> reporter: criss angel one of the richest magicians in the world leaping into action pulling off this daring rescue that was no trick at all. horsman lucky to be alive and

because of comments he made about mexican immigrants. >> when mexico sends its people they're not sending their best. they're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. they're rapists and some i assume are good people. >> reporter: these comments made during trump's campaign announcement. he now tells abc news he was referencing many immigrant group, not just those from mexico. do you regret those comments? >> not at all. i said it about people from all over. >> reporter: univision called the comments insulting. how much are you going to sue them for. >> well we're going to sue them for a tremendous amount of money including defamation. >> reporter: trump tells abc news the agreement to broadcast miss usa in spanish was a five here year deal signed in january ironclad and worth about $15 million. in your announcement you were talking about how good a businessman is. univision is telling you you're fired essentially. >> i know you want to be cute when you say that. they're not saying anything. i think univision is listening

to the mexico government they don't like the fact that donald trump is talking about what bad deals the united states is making with mexico. >> reporter: the republican candidate recently told george mexico was ripping off america. >> you're calling them an enemy. >> george george mexico does not like us. mexico is not our friend. >> reporter: the univision decision comes after major celebrities slammed trump. ricky marting tweeting in spanish he had hate and ignorance in his heart and this message from one of the co-hosts of the miss usa broadcast, chilean actor cristian de la fuente. >> it is a shame that such an important institution as miss usa is in the hands of a clown. >> you know i took it over and it was a dying company when i took it over 14 years ago and now it's got tremendous ratings, miss usa, miss universe and as far as he's concerned he's getting publicity. i never even heard of him. he has no signed contract. >> reporter: trump claims univision apologized to him about the decision before it was

announced and he will name the executive who called him in a lawsuit. now, trump tells me these issues are going to happen because he's not afraid to speak his mind. we want to mention univision is partners with abc's parent company, disney on the cable channel fusion. guys donald trump has been in the race less than two weeks and already so much news. >> you want to be cute when you're saying that. >> i was trying to be a hard-hitting reporter. >> we think you're cute. it's okay. >> take it as a compliment. >> thank you, tom. we turn to that missysterious disappearance of a real estate mogul. last seen on the way to meet his client. the trail is going coal and abc's clayton sandell has the story. >> reporter: this morning arizona police say real estate investor sidney cranston is in danger after he vanished on the job more than a week ago. >> just a really special person and i can't say enough good things about him. >> reporter: cranston's brother says the 40-year-old agreed to meet a potential buyer at this vacant home on june 16th.

that day a neighbor reported seeing cranston there near a white suv. but he hasn't been seen or heard from since. selling homes can be a dangerous career. the government says more than a dozen people in the real estate industry were murdered on the job in 2013 alone. investigators say cranston left few details about his plans, according to friends, he said only that his client was going to pick him up and that he'd return home later that evening. >> we're handling this case as a criminal investigation and our investigators are looking at every piece of information. >> reporter: police say they don't know who that mystery client was. >> there's bad, evil people out there in the world and i need all the good people to try to help. >> reporter: for "good morning america," clayton sandell, abc news, denver. >> hopefully they'll get the help they need to find him. thank you, clayton. now to actor dustin diamond, he played screech from "saved by the bell." he's been sentenced to four months in jail for stabbing a

man in a wisconsin bar during a christmas day fight. the former star apologizing at his sentencing and abc's kendis gibson has more on that. >> reporter: he may have been "saved by the bell" -- >> many i in detention. >> reporter: but not by the gavel. dustin diamond sentenced to four months in kill after a bar brawl stabbing. >> i wanted to be clear that this situation will never be repeated again. >> reporter: diamond apologizing to the judge during his sentencing hearing thursday. >> if i'm ever in a situation where i or a loved one is in danger i will choose to passively accept what is given to me in the hopes that a night in the emergency room would be infinitely better than facing a future of being seen as a criminal criminal. >> reporter: he was found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. this tmz video capturing it allegedly. he was trying to protect his fiancee after she confronted a group of people who were taking photos of the actor.

10:00 a.m. french time. that's 4 a.m. eastern time. it is air products and chemicals near grow noble. it is a u.s. company based in pennsylvania. all 40 employees on that site have now been evacuated. two men rode into the factory on a vehicle hitting several gas canisters setting off multiple explosions. president hollande said this morning there is one dead and two injured which has the hallmarks of a terrorist attack. a man was deheaded and the head was found on the gate with arabic writing skoaled on it. a torso found nearby the explosion, two flags one white and one black with arabic writing left at the scene. some unconfirmed reports said there was an isis flag. france's anti-terrorist un in it is overseeing the investigation. one of the men who carry out the attack has been arrested. the other man still at large. this attack comes just after the

the other is when you're texting instead of looking down if you can hold your phone up. >> yeah like this. >> like that. >> you're not putting those forces there. >> but then in addition to that there are things can you do. exercises to increase the flexibility in your neck and some of the strength. so you know take a look at this first video. this is a rotational video here. rotational exercise so you're turing your head to the side and with your hand exerting some force stretching those muscles there and you do that for a couple of seconds to both sides. the second one is a head tilt. and with this you're tilling your head to the side trying to get your ear down to your shoulder. that is stretching those muscles on the other side hold for a couple seconds and do it over to the other side. and then the third one is a shoulder roll so you pinch your shoulders back and then you're in a sense doing a rolling motion with your shoulders backwards and forwards. those are all going to improve your posture, help keep your neck over your head and in addition i love yoga for this.
