>> all that rain you've been talking about new this morning crews in delaware had to rush to rescue three people found clinging to trees. officials say someone heard cries for help from a wooded area after the red clay creek flooded. all three victims were taken to the hospital where they are in stable condition. all the rain isn't helping people in south jersey. shore road in pleasantville atlantic county almost flooded out completely last night. drivers caught in the torrential rain took it slowly through the water. thousands of people in south jersey still have no power because of last week's storm. the action cam found a similar story in cumberland county, drivers making a treacherous trek through ponding on delsea drive in vineland. in many cases the saturday soaking was too much and too

fast for drains to handle. >> new this morning a person is dead after crashing into a pole in south jersey. the action cam was on the scene the intersection of south white white horse pike and united states avenue in lindenwald. police say the vehicle went out of control and slammed into a utility pole. the driver was pronounced at the scene. investigators are trying to figure out why the vehicle went out of control. police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who slammed his vehicle into five parked cars in manayunk. the action cam was on the scene late last night the 4500 block of richie street. residents heard a series of bangs, before they could get outside, the damage done by the vehicle was gone. a teenager is in the hospital with critical injuries after yet another shark attack on the carolina coast. it's the second in as many days and the 6th attack in two

books. abc's alica brown has more. >> reporter: a shark attack victim in the outer banks saturday. it's the second attack off the outer banks in just two days. this one near rodansy. the possibility of attacks increases during the summer because more people are in the water. >> it's not necessarily that they are coming in closer to shore or they are doing anything differently. we are more at the shore. >> reporter: the park service said the attack happened around 4:00 p.m. the victim was swimming with several other people, but the only one hurt. david marko described the situation as scary first day of vacation no beach for us. there are things you can do to decrease the chances of coming into contact including not swimming around piers or where people are fishing.

11:00 a.m. the u.s. army band concert and fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. the rubber ducky has been repaired and as long as winds are calm today he'll be inflated. >> fingers crossed. crews in delaware rushed to rescue three people trapped by floodwaters and clinging to trees, someone heard cries for help in stanton after the red clay creek flooded its banks. crews found two men and one woman clinging to trees all victims were taken to christiana hospital where they are in stable condition. we have video from wilmington, delaware, the storm that dumped inches of rain in our area, pushed the brandywine river over its banks. there are there are no reports of injuries or evacuations, but the water certainly shows some

of the impact from yesterday's storm. all that rain isn't helping people in south jersey. shore road in pleasantville atlantic county almost flooded out completely last night. drivers caught in the torrential rain took it slowly through the water. thousands of people in south jersey have no power because of last week's storm. the action cam found a similar story in cumberland county, drivers making the treacherous treck through ponding on delsea drive in vineland. in many cases the saturday soaking was too much and too fast for drains to handle. >> new this morning one person is dead after the victim's car hit a pole in south jersey, the action cam was on the scene the intersection of south white horse pike and united states state avenue in lindenwald. police say the vehicle went out of control at 4:30 a.m. and slammed into a utility pole. the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. investigators are trying to

figure out why the vehicle went out of control. police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who slammed his or her vehicle into five parked cars in manayunk. the action cam with as on the scene of the 4500 block of richie street. rnlts heard a series -- residents heard a series of bangs, but by the time they got outside, the vehicle was gone. investigators hope surveillance videos will lead them to the suspect. a 17-year-old boy is in serious condition after being bitten by a shark off the waters of a a north carolina beach. the teen was the only one attacked. he is in the mom with injuries to his legs and hands. it's the second shark attack in the area in two days, but one shark expert says that doesn't mean the fish are looking for people to eat. >> it's not necessarily that they are coming in closer to shore they are not doing anything differently we're more at the shore. >> there's been a half dozen

shark attacks along the coast in the past two weeks. hundreds of tunisians are banged together against extremism. they held a vigil at the seaside resort of sousse. a gunman pulled an assault rifle out of his beach umbrella and killed 38 people before security forces shot and killed him. the gunman used grenades as he moved from the beach to the pool area into the hotel. we're learning grizzly new details about the terror attack in france. the suspect took a selfie with the beheaded victim and sent it to a canadian cell phone number. they are working to identify the recipient. the investigators say a truck driver with a history of radical islamic ties crashed his truck into a chemical warehouse and hung his employer's severed head
