good afternoon in the news this noon, a plane lands on homes and cars, what we know about the crash in indonesia a, and what the pilot said just before the jet went down. and firefighters spent two hours rescuing a driver on the pennsylvania turnpike. the accident that had the road closed for two hours. and the big story is new jersey governor chris christie, joining the race for the president of the united states. on the parkway we posted the full details at 6abc.com. time for a check of the accuweather forecast outside we go taking a live look from sky 6 with a mix of sun and clouds taking a look at the center city skyline some of us see potentially strong thunderstorms as well. david murphy is tracking the latest for us at the big board. >> we are entering the next sector of this storm here, we'll be stuck in it for the next couple of days, we have a warm front snake from the south to the north and there is warm air there and we are firing up showers and there is a related low pressure and cold front and we get into the middle of this today and tomorrow, there is most unstable air it will provide and with sun poking through the clouds every now and then and humidity on the rise, we are looking at a couple of

days where there could be showers and thunderstorms, right now we have no lightning out there, pretty typical this time of the day over the next hour to two hours there is a chance that some of this stuff blossoms into thunderstorms and some more coming in later on and right now showers and some downpours east of harrisburg, and another cluster pushing into the southern reaches of chester county, as we look at future tracker 6 we look at the action shifting farther to the east and every now and then there is the potential of a real downpour out of these storms. as we go to 5:00, it looks like most of this action is pushing up to the north but as far as 8:00 9:00, there is a chance of this stuff swinging through the i-95 corridor several risk farc teres where they do pop, lightning is an issue with thunderstorms and the air is

is live over the 3100 block of stillman street in north philadelphia where investigators have found regina brunner's car she was found dead in her home in east mt. airy her throat was slashed and there is no sign of forced entry and her car a 2005 toyota corolla was missing no word on how the car was discovered. we'll continue to bring you updates throughout the afternoon. >> a driver had to be rescued from an overturned dump truck this morning from the pennsylvania turnpike the truck collided with a pickup truck to northbound 476, in plymouth township. it took two hours to get him out of the cab and he was air lifted to the hospital all lanes have since reopened. philadelphia police are looking for two suspects in the shooting

of a pregnant woman and her boyfriend they both survived but her unborn child did not. katherine scott spoke to investigators at the crime scene. >> >> reporter: the woman was 4 months pregnant and was rushed into surgery but lost the baby, she was one of two people shot here. >> when neighbors in west oak lane first heard the gunshots some thought it was fireworks it wasn't until later that they realize that two people had been shot a pregnant woman and a man believed to be her boyfriend. >> i thought i heard three loud noises, i said wow they are starting 4th of july really early. >> if i knew it was gunshots i would have went into the hallway or bathroom. >> they found a 46-year-old man lie on the sidewalk he had been shot multiple times in his legs, a 32-year-old woman was sitting

in a nearby car, she was shot in the lower back, after being shot we believe the female jumped into the passenger front seat of the vehicle we didn't find any bullet holes or strike marks in the vehicle, the vehicle's engine was still running upon police arrival. >> she was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, doctors soon discovered she was pregnant and they were unable to save the baby. >> i heard a gentlemen say that is my wife or woman. >> two suspects fled and the motive is under investigation. >> a whole lot of people grieving, when something like this happens it doesn't happen to one person it happens to the neighborhood and all the family members and friends and everything. >> police are searching for surveillance cameras in the area to see if there is any to help in this investigation and give them a more details description of the suspect.

towns in the blue box you can look at the time on the screen next to your town that is the approximate time of arrival. this is roughly how long have you got green lawn at 36 and salisburiville, probably 12:41 and coatesville picking up the rain at 12:46. we have slightly brighter yellow and shades of orange and red, that could be a burge ening thunderstorm. it's well to the west of reading and if i start this up it's pushing out to the northeast and if we are lucky that will miss allentown and reading and get on past us we have to keep watching this stuff as it develops clouds mix with sunny breaks and all the waterways sneaking through the wetlands and the clouds have been an issue since fairly early this morning now we get the sunny

breaks and what is a good thing, 82 degrees right now in philadelphia the dew point continues to inch upward it feels humid out there if you get the sun on you and you start walking around it's a bit on the breezy side and temperatures in the 70s in lehigh and berks county but low 80s in millville and most shore spots. here is future tracker 6 between now and 2:30 we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms most of the heavy stuff is farther north but i can't rule out some of that happening closer to wilmington and philadelphia. and the north and west suburbs have the best chance in the evening, but some could clip close to philadelphia. we are in the slight possibility of severe weather out of this, the storm prediction center has this blob of yellow going back to the midwest, we are over here on the eastern edge of it that
