a man was trapped in the

and langhorne, so parts of montgomery as we look at this particular storm it's north of ambler near the split of 202 north of ambler moving east at 20 to 25 miles per hour. jacksonville 4:35, and dangerous lightning and very heavy rainfall with that particular storm. we have a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for the same time until 4:30, for parts of delaware county over the philadelphia international airport, and this also has strong winds and hail and dangerous lightning in edition to the heavy rain approaching media north of chester and the southern part of the blue route heading over springfield at 4:22 and collingdale at 4:24 and upper darby at 4:26, look at the hail as well, up to 1 inch in

super cell storms with rotation popping up across the area, and even into 2:00 in the morning, we have a slow front that is coming up in the west, storms we are tracking into the early morning hours on wednesday, but by late tomorrow morning, late tomorrow afternoon the sunshine returns and it's quieter here this time tomorrow. the four day at 4:00, giving way to sun and 87 degrees, and a spotty storm possible on thursday and most of the day is dry and we watch normal system try to brush areas where rain early on friday when the sun returns it could be dry on friday and a spotty storm but isolated now for the 4th and warm and humid at 86 degrees, we have had three tornado warnings already this afternoon and one could pop up at any time. >> thanks adam. a female voice on

we are back with a live picture right now from philadelphia international airport, because we have just learned in the past couple of seconds as a result of the severe storms moving through the region, and thunderstorms moving

through the area the airport is on a grown stop, no flights in or out until 5:15 this evening, we are also getting record reports that there are more than 10,000 people without electricity at a result of these storms, we expect the number to climb as the evening going on and accuweather team is standing by to give you the latest on these systems as they move through tonight. police are searching for a missing man at the jersey shore he was last seen at the hareford inlet this morning, two rescuerer tried to rescue him but lost sight of him and now the u.s. coast guard is involved in the search. and there is much more to come in our next half our of "action news" today. a pregnant woman is in critical condition, her unborn baby died of a double shooting in west oak

heavy rainfall and gusty winds. we are tracking this cluster of storms this was originally severe as it moved over chester and media over the southern part of the blue route south of route 1 heading towards the airport in center city, at 4:38 not severe and still a dangerous storm a lot of lightning with this heavy rainfall and also some gusty winds. as we look at photos coming in this particular photo from jessica was sent to my twitter page golf ball-size hail and in whitehall township a state of emergency is declared. do not travel anywhere near whitehall, pennsylvania, over 10,000 customers without power and they had tornado warnings. lightning safety when you hear thunder roar go indoors,

channel 6 "action news." >> philadelphia police are also searching for two suspects after a double shooting left a pregnant woman in critical condition and claimed the life of her unborn baby, it happened on the 7300 block of west oak lane, police say that a pregnant woman was shot while sitting inside of a car the woman was hit in the back and the man hit several times in the legs. both were rushed to einstein medical center where the woman's unborn baby died. two men were seen fleeing the scene. from our delaware newsroom, a delaware man faces charges after police say he grabbed a little girl and repeatedly dunked her in a swimming pool. they say that kevin minor was intoxicated at the time and he dunked her at the oceanic motel he did not know the girl or her

responders scrambling in indonesia, there were 113 on board, 101 passengers and 12 crew members, according to officials a military air base nearby and shortly after takeoff, the c 130 a big turbo engine plane came down in a residential area in sumatra, crushing cars and burning buildings including houses and part of a three story hotel and authorities are saying dozens killed at the scene. the cause of the crash today remains under investigation but preliminary they say that the plane reported engine trouble into the flight. back in december 162 people were killed when an air asia jet

lehigh county has now declared a state of emergency, as you can imagine the damage there has been reported as significant as a result of the high winds and the intensity of the storm that moved through a short time ago this afternoon several areas were under a tornado warning and those have since expired and other watches and warnings persist and you'll hear about them here first on "action news." and a memory of a fallen police state trooper. they are renaming it for corporal brian dixon he was shot at his base last year, he left behind a whif and two young sons his suspected killer eric frein pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. now the plan to serve greek

center. >> we are starting to not love tuesdays the big storms last week and now more storms on this tuesday afternoon for the ride home and adam talked a bit ago rolling through the glassboro area, along 55 approaching 322 they had the northbound lanes blocked for a bit and now the right lane is blocked with speeds in the teens, and single digit speeds traveling southbound. be aware of that if you use 55 and we are starting to get reports of downed trees in south jersey as well. here in bridgeton the westbound lanes of 49 at broad street are blocked at east avenue stay on commerce street to get around that and one of them along 95 northbound side by marsh road the left lane is out of commission coming north of 202 the concord pike, west of 202 look for a downed tree at

several systems that moved through. >> chester county there was a tornado warning there doesn't necessarily mean one hit the ground and lehigh valley we have seen pictures of roofs ripped off of homes and a severe thunderstorm is in effect tonight. until 8:00. these are more like super cell thunderstorms,ville storms peppered through the region not a definitive line like we saw last tuesday that blasted through the region we are taking a look at pictures coming in and this sent into my facebook page, and can you see what looks like a funnel cloud is trying to develop and in edition to that funnel cloud she captured a lightning bolt at the same time, and continue to watch the storms during the evening hours double scan live, a severe thunderstorm warning,

for manheim, and northern parts of lancaster county as this heads north and east of lincoln and white oak before 5:00 some very powerful winds moving east of elizabeth town, north of 238 in addition to that it's moving from center city to the airport, releasing a lot of rain and could be ponding on the roadways as well. if you head up 95 to the blue route, be cautious of water being released. it's not severe and 2 inches of rain per hour, there is a rainfall rate as this passes through and torrential rain into center city. and the schuylkill expressway as you head westward as we look at the severe thunderstorm watch in parts of new jersey and delaware, as well as southeastern pennsylvania, this does not include the shore the watch means the potential is
