philadelphia where lease are investigating after a child fell out of a window this morning. the 6-year-old boy fell from the second floor of a home on the 100 block of west huntington street. the boy was being watched by a babysitter when he fell just after 6:30, he was conscious when he was taken to the hospital chad pradelli is at the scene and will bring us the latest on the boy's condition at b 30. now the latest on the dramatic incident at the navy yard in washington d.c. they were given the all clear when someone reported gun fire in the same build wrg a mass shooting took place two years ago even though it was a false alarm it triggered an intention response and lasted for hours. karen travers live from the scene with the latest.

>> reporter: it's quiet here now at the navy yard but just a couple of hours ago a tension scene that brought scary flashbacks to 2013, when 12 people were killed at the washington navy yard. the chief of police said that the 911 call came in about gunshots fired. they don't believe it was a hoax but this shows how serious they are taking threats especially into the holiday weekend. a dramatic scene today at the washington navy yard, just after 7:30 a.m., a massive police response just after reports of a shooter on the ground and the navy yard went on lock down and people were told to sheltner place. after a room by room sweep they found no threat. by 10:00 a.m. police vehicles were moving out of area. >> we are grateful to have found

significant since the 9/11 attacks. >> employees can expect to be back at work around lunch time. reporting live from the washington navy yard karen travers, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. police have now identified the three people killed in a fiery car crash on the schuylkill expressway, the vehicle slammed into a median and burst into flames in the westbound lanes near montgomery avenue, the driver 27-year-old ronald stanley was killed and the two passengers that died were 19-year-old smith. a fourth passenger survived and was hospitalized in serious condition. a woman is in critical condition and a police car riddled in bullets after two separate shootings in camden. vernon odom is following both investigations and is live now from police headquarters.

>> reporter: hello sara, detectives and police are hot on the trail into the investigation into the wild violence here in the city overnight. camden police are tolding two suspects in the crossfire shooting of a 29-year-old woman critically wounded this morning on south 27th street. she was hit in the back and then lost control of her vehicle and then crashed into a tree one suspect was arrested at the scene and the second one arrested after he showed up at the hospital in cherry hill with a shoulder wound this was after a camden county police officer was injured after he patrolled in an unmarked police car his side and car was riddled with bullets, he was treated for cuts and released. police at this hour are looking hard very hard for the person that attempted to kill the police officer overnight no identifications yet on the two being held in connect with the

the case. there is quite a bit off the coast and it would be a good idea not to take the stroll on the boardwalk before it get as way from you. there does look like there is a chance to die down later on as we look outside we have basically cloudy skies across the region this is fairmount parka cross the river now is he still getting me reports and i'm a weather guy your temperature is 73 degrees, winds from the northwest not all that strong at 8 miles per hour, 77 in allen allentown and reading and it's warmer up north and the clouds are thicker here and the farther north you go and the farther away you are the warmer it is. we think we'll be able to bounce up a bit through the afternoon

and get up into the low 80s, 52 in philadelphia your dew points and anything over 60 is considered humid this is not all that humid you go down to the shore, and it's more so and future tracker 6 shows you from now until 2:00 there is decent potential for rain and we should be dry after that, and up in allentown basically dry and a slight chance of a shower and partly sunny at times this afternoon a high of 81 degrees, as we go down to the shore that is where the rain is centered and it's cloudy and damp and rip currents in the ocean. 84 is the high in philadelphia we may struggle to that, i can see us stopping at 82 cloudy and a shower south and sprinkling in philadelphia but most of it down in south jersey
