n today. we'll go live to new york where final preps are underway for a parade. good morning everybody tam is off, eva pilgrim joins us, we have david murphy and matt pellman. >> reporter: we had storms last night that left trees and wires down, avoid that. the rain is off the coast now we see breaks in the clouds. while it's humid out there we expect the dew points to drop in the morning and after. 69 in allentown. 73 in millville. mid 70s along the boardwalks. as we head outside we're in the low 70s. if you start moving around a lot, you may feel the humidity, but it's on its way down. noon, 82. 3:00 p.m., 86 degrees we're actually looking for a high of 87 it will slide in late in the day around 4:00, 4:30, 6:00, 86 degrees that bodes well for

the weekend. >> reporter: this sounds like a great one. good morning to you david. looking live on the vine street expressway, everything is reopened following the overnight closure westbound. they return tonight to the eastbound side and shut that down at 11:00 p.m. after that we should be done with the complete closures of the vine at least for the rest of the month. spring garden street not too far away. overnight work going on over top of the schuylkill expressway. this meant the closure of mlk drive by the art museum which should be reopened now. we have tree brancheses down, and downed tree is closing 401 between 345 and nantmeal road. having traffic light trouble at

hall street in norristown. no issues on the pennsylvania turnpike or 432. construction in salem county, southbound side of 295. approaching the new jersey turnpike. watch out for that in the left lane. no service on the njt river line due to flooding from last night's storm. >> the storms left parts of damage in philadelphia and the suburbs. katherine scott is live in media, delaware county where the cleanup is underway. >> reporter: matt, that's right those were fierce storms we've seen damage from berks county to delaware. here in media kirk lane is closed off. quite a few people lost power the cleanup continues today. you can hear the strong winds on the cell phone video a funnel cloud spotted around 7:45 p.m.

25 to 30 feet above the ground in new castle delaware. at delaware river industrial park on dock drive the side of the buildings was ripped open, debris strewn on the ground. walls collapsed on two commercial buildings here. >> we believe heavy straight line wind or tornado. >> reporter: another funnel cloud was spotted in berks county. "action news" viewer haven't this to us from tilldon township. strong winds ripped the roof off the building, two people got out safely. in media this enormous tree snapped a upole and knocked -- snapped a utility pole and knocked out power. >> i was looking out the window

garage windows the vehicle ignited in the shop along the 1600 block of # oh, -- 202. no injuries were reported. the drug enforcement agency is investigating seven urgent care facilities across the region. they raided two in philadelphia along the clinics in willow grove, reading and scranton. the feds are looking into whether the center illegally sold prescription drugs. dea agents took a doctor into custody and questioned workers there. >> police in falls township held a town hall meeting to address a rash of burglaries. both home burglaries and theft from vehicles have risen since last year. most in the neighbor of thorn ridge and elderberry pond and willow ridge. officers said if you see anything suspicious to call. a teenager is behind bars

accused of setting an 11-year-old boy on fire in southwest philadelphia. it happened near the corner of 60th and hazel avenue. the victim said the 17-year-old threw hand sanitizer on him and held a cigarette lighter up to his skin. the boy suffered second degree burns. the honeymoon is over for bucks county newlyweds they returned from their trip to return a hot mess. a 27-ton septic truck that lost its brakes and broke through their fence and plowed into the back of their new home. joe said he is heartbroken and so was his bride. >> getting back from the honeymoon and getting all situated and having to deal with this. >> nobody was injured but the house that is structural damage and raw sewage spilled into the

mornings midnight to 6:00 a.m. it's the stretch between lansdale and the lehigh valley. they will shut down 476. working on a couple of different bridges stay on 309. on the main line of the turnpike, the ramps connecting with route 29 in malvern will close tomorrow evening from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. sunday morning. the ramps for the ease pass interchange will be blocked for construction. lancaster county, if you head out there like i do, you meant to avoid the area around route 23 and route 30. it's the women's u.s. open attracting scores of people to lancaster county. we're televised around the world, it's a big deal with big traffic implications. if you're heading to amish land watch for that. the. >> keep it on the fairway. >> carli lloyd and the u.s.a.

soccer team be getting ready for the parade in new york city. rob nelson is live along the parade route, good morning rob. no audio. >> reporter: well, this team has inspired the entire country so a lot of festivities are in new york city. this is not a new york city event it's an event for the entire county. new york city has been scrambling the last seferldz to make this event a reality they made the announcement back on tuesday, as you get ready for the parade in just a few hours floats have been made streets have been closed in downtown, lower manhattan. an army of media has arrived. the parade kicks off in just a few hours at 11:00 a.m. afterwards this will be a special ceremony, city hall
