clearing out like spring garden by the schuylkill expressway. extra work is ut-oh of the way. you're left with the normal construction pattern. on the big picture vine street expressway westbound is reopened that is closed overnight. it will close on the eastbound side, but after that we should be done with the complete closures of the vine at least for the rest of july. of course the work continues on the ben franklin bridge, westbound toward center city in the right lane, that's giving us delays each day this week we expect them this morning. delays are forming on the southbound side of i-95, speeds in the 30s by cotman, a little building volume. we have a few downed trees in chester county along 401 near 345. stay on route 23, ridge road instead of conostoga road. coatsvilleville, scene along the

30 bypass drying out with no delays on this friday morning. parts of the delaware valley are cleaning up from the intense round of fear weather that rolled through the region. katherine scott is live in meade i can't delaware county sure -- media, delaware county surveying the damage there. >> reporter: i have an update in media. just a few minutes ago they moved the barricades on kirk lane it is reopened. crews were making repairs when multiple homes lost power when a utility cloud came down. a funnel cloud spotted in berks county. about a mile from there winds ripped the roof off blue mountain elementary school. two people were inside, but got out safely. the national weather service could be called out to investigate the funnel cloud if contacted by the county. new new castle delaware, a different funnel cloud was seen

around 7:45, 25 to 30 feet above the grounds. delaware river industrial park on dock drive collapses into two commercial buildings. the side of the building ripped open debris everywhere. >> we have roof damage and wall collapses on both buildings. >> reporter: in media this tree came down snapping a riew tilt pole -- a utility pole. this family lost power for four days after storms ripped through late last night. >> we can't use our toilets we can't run any water we have a gridironed plump pump so we lose our sewage. >> reporter: how frustrating is this for you? >> very, we have five kids in the house. >> reporter: the road was closed for work, it is now reopened. progress is being made. there's still cleanup to do today. katherine scott channel 6
