y, july 11. here's some of the stories we're following on "action news," five people are injured in a rollover crash in bucks county overnight. parishners of a fishtown catholic church rejoys after their beloved worship site is saved from demolition at least for now. peep france wraps up his visit in south america with mass in paraguay. chris sowers is outside with the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. >> reporter: one thing i'm noticing with every car that drives by on city avenue. the windows are down for a change as they are enjoying the fresh air. they are enjoying the break from the humidity we're seeing, the stifling stuff. 73 degrees in philadelphia. 64 in allentown. no humidity at all in the lehigh valley. poconos 64. you had a morning low of 59. trenton, 67. reading, 65. 70 in millville. dover, 71. satellite and radar, we have a

few high thin clouds upstairs right now. i'll give it a couple of hours and all this, this activity you see here will be pushing out to sea. accuweather says expect a lot of sunshine this afternoon. we'll zoom into double scan live delaware bay region. millville southward east of dover. getting ready to push into cape may county there will be a brief period of spritz or sprinkle activity or brief passing shower. it sticks around 40, 45 minutes tops and it's out of here. 76 degrees for philadelphia. 9:00 a.m., lunchtime 83. later this afternoon temperatures will hover in the upper 80s. 88 degrees but with lower humidity levels it will feel pretty nice out here. sun is setting at 8:31, the days are actually getting a little bit shorter now unfortunately as summer is making its turn twardz -- towards fall.

storms developing next week, some of them will be on the stronger side along with that comes the increase in humidity. i'll run down all the details when i see you in just a bit. >> crews were busy cleaning up debris after two tornados touched down in the delaware valley. blue mountain elementary school's roof was ripped off. the principal was inside when the storm hit. she was able to get out a few bumps and bruises. school officials hope students can attend a sister school nearby when classes resume for the fall. they will be cleaning up in new castle delaware after another tornado touched down thursday night. a viewer captured this ominous cloud heading down new castle avenue. trong -- strong winds wiped out this wall at a new castle industrial complex. >> it ripped the roof off and

some of it ended up on new castle avenue and some of it ended up on this trailer. >> reporter: at least three homes were destroyed in the mobile home park, the tornado was 75 miles wide and half mile long. philadelphia say they are investigating a sexual assault on the grounds of the cobbs creek golf club. the crime scene is near the second hole off cartington road. officers noticed her walking in the area around 4:30, so far no reports arrests. new this morning five people recovering in the hospital after a crash in bucks county. they were inside a car that flipped over several times and went off the road. the accident happened on south street near route 413 in bristol township around 3:00 a.m. two people were thrown from the car. police are sorting out what caused the crash stay with "action news" and 6abc.com for updates. parishners in fishtown say

their prayers have been answered. an important piece of their culture has been saved from the wrecking ball. saint laurentius church was scheduled for demolition until the city stepped in. >> reporter: a piece of philadelphia history now protected. the former saint laurentius catholic church with its twin expires ornate paintings and hand crafted alter has been saved from the wrecking ball. it's the first and oldest polish catholic church in the city. the historical commission designated it a historic place preventing the archdiocese from moving forward to dlol -- demolishing it. neighbors happy about the decision. >> i think it's a beautiful historic structure i would love to see it stay. a lot of people would have love for glts.

keep it on the market who they appeal the city's decision. >> a retired school teacher in exton is accused of having sexual relationship with a student. police caught her having sex with a 17-year-old in a car. she is the teen's teacher at the charter school. the teenager told authorities they have been intimate since february. they plan to appeal a conviction of a family in connection with the deadly courthouse shooting. david iewicz's father shot and killed his wife and friend at the delaware courthouse.

>> this represents the bravery of her children who came into the courtroom who testified on her behalf. >> the conviction was the first of it's kinds in the united states. >> an emaciated dog who was rescued back this december is happy and healthy in a new home. this is what the dog looked like in december. the animal just skin and bones. yesterday jeffrey collins pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and sentenced to 24 month probation and pay spca to restitution. they spent months nursing him back to health. as you can see the dog is doing just fine. dozens gathered in love park to push for the decriminalization of marijuana. they joined the east coast cannabis commission to call for marijuana reform.

an "action news" viewer sent us a shark scare that forced people out of the water in ocean city. a woman was playing in the ocean and saw a strange sight. >> i saw this black wave in the water and pulled the kids out. told the lifeguards and about 20
