keynote address. trish hartman joins us live outside the hotel in center city. >> reporter: marilyn mosby will address the naacp partly -- part of a five day naacp. her keynote address kicks off by empowering black woman. she stepped into the spotlight after the death of freddie gray, marilyn mosby is prosecuting the 6 officers. she said gray suffered a spinal injury after police put him in shackles and placed him head first into the van. cell phone video shows gray being dragged and placed into the police van. after his funeral violent rights broke out and crowds set fires

and pelting rocks and bottles at police officer. the royalties subsided after she announced the charges. we found convention goers who hoped to hear her speak today but tickets were sold out. >> it's a great inspiration for young black women that she was accomplished so much in so little time that she as is a figure and role model for us black women. >> reporter: again, those mows is scheduled to speak at 10:30 at the hotel naacp national convention wraps up organ wednesday in philadelphia. of note president obama is expected to speak at the convention on tuesday trish hartman, channel 6 "action news." >> a motor cyclist is dead after an early morning crash in hunting park. a motor cycle and car ran into

each other at 3:30, the force of the commission tossed the motorcycle 50 feet down the street. the driver was thrown from the bike. he was taken to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead. police are investigating. >> police are looking for the killer who gunned down a man at a philadelphia playgrounds. the action cam was at the scene if i know -- finnigan's playground. residents heard three gunshots. one shot hit a man in the head. the 35-year-old was pronounced at the scene. witnesses say the man lived nearby. homicide detectives have not said if they have any motives or suspects in the case. philadelphia police are investigating the deadly shooting of another man near his home overnight. it happened on the 3500 block of pearl street. the man received a phone call

moments before he was shot. he asked his grandmother to watch his children when he went to meet someone. so far police have no suspects or motives in the case. the victim was recently in jail for narcotics violations. the search continues for a man who sexual assaulted a woman on the golf course. it happened on cobbs creek golf course in overbrook park. jeff chirico has more on the investigation. >> reporter: it happened before daylight, the victim was walking along cartington drive when a man passed her on foot and turned around and grabbed her he dragged her behind a tree and raped her. the news doesn't surprise natasha who said she is always alert when walking alone. >> it's actually excluded. people can pop out of anywhere, the trees the bushes. you have to be careful tall times. >> sharmaine she she only walks
