gunman after a began is shot dead at a city play ground. >> baltimore state attorney general marilyn mosby bringing her message to philadelphia. >> after weeks of negotiations and missed deadlines diplomats may have struck a deal on the iran nuclear program. >> those stories in a moment, but first the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, a bright spot in the day. >> reporter: good afternoon to you both. it's perfect out hear, it is, especially for july standards. we have cloud cover upstairs, mostly sunny skies for the most part a breeze blowing from time to time and slightly humid conditions, but not too bad. not a bad afternoon at all. 83 in trenton. 86 in philadelphia. reading, 84. sea isle city and on the boardwalk in atlantic city, 80 degrees both locations as the sea breeze starts to kick in. satellite and radar we've been tracking a complex of showers and thunderstorms off to the west all morning.

and now you can see the cloud cover starting to roll in from the west from that system. but really that's about all from the system that we'll see today. just a few high thin clouds later on. 89 degrees by 4:00 p.m. we're anticipating a high of 90. 6:00 p.m., 88 degrees, a slightly higher humidity levels, maybe the heat index gets one or two degrees warmer than the air temperatures. we have showers and thunderstorms in the forecast especially monday night into tuesday, a couple of could be on the stronger sides with downpours and gusty winds. we'll talk about that when i see you with the full forecast in ten minutes. >> we have breakfasting news from scranton, pennsylvania, a police officer suffered a head injury while trying to arrest three teenage robbery suspects has died. 29-year-old john wilding died this morning. he jumped a fence chasing the

teens and fell 15 feet. he was married with two children ages 3 and seven. the three suspects are in custody. they are facing robbery charges right now. new today the action cam was this medford, new jersey where car ran into the pedestrian. the accident happened at 9:15 church road and county road 541. the driver badly damaged the front of the car. so far no word on the condition of the victim. >> in other news, today is the second day of the na a -- naacp annual convention. >> marilyn mosby filed charges in against the officers in the death of freddie gray, marilyn mosby giving the keynote address today. trish hartman joins us with more. >> reporter: good afternoon, nydia and eva. marilyn mosby the state's

released from jail for narcotics violation. >> we have information on a deadly motorcycle accident in the hunting park section of philadelphia. the action cam was on the scene. police say the motorcycle was riding on f street when it struck a car pulling out of a parking space. the man was not wearing a helmet he was thrown several feet and landed under a parked car. he was taken to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead. now to the massive manhunt for the mexico drug lord, joaquin "el chapo" guzman broke out last night and he did so from his cell. >> reporter: overnight joaquin "el chapo" guzman's escaping from prison a second time this time disappearing from one of the world's toughest jails and mexico's most secure prison. >> it's a high security jail

ever seen. >> reporter: a massive search operation has been launched spanning highways and neighboring states. guzman was captured in 2014 after a decade on the run. facing drug traffic in the u.s. guzman headed the powerful cartel believed to control most of the major crossing points for drugs at the u.s. border with mexico. >> greece's minister said a compromised deal is possible if all parties want it. germany's chancellor angela merkel will not agree to a deal at any price. they want reform in texas and administration. they have discussed the details of easing the debt burden if the

man who sexually assaulted a woman on a philadelphia golf course. the attack happened at the cobbs creek golf course in overbrook park. a the woman was walk walking by a man when he turned around and grabbed her and raped her. >> me and my husband were walking past, she came over the guardrail, she was crying, i just got raped and they took my stuff. >> now philadelphia police have not confirmed any previous assaults in the area. if you have any information that could help in the investigation you are under to call philadelphia police him. now to are a mystery on a popular beach in new england. the bomb squad rushing to a beach in rhode island where an explosion sent a woman flying. what happened?

abc's mary bruce has the latest. >> reporter: police investigating a terrifying explosion on a popular rhode island beach saturday morning. so powerful, witnesses say it was like an volcanic eruption. >> >> it was like a mini earthquake. >> reporter: the blast so strong it launched a 50-year-old woman into the air slamming into her into nearby rocks emergency responders rush be her to the hospital. >> it sent her into the air and she landed face down. >> reporter: the bomb squad raced to the scene to investigate. the blast appeared to come from the beneath the sand. what caused it? >> we have no evidence or indication that there was a device. >> reporter: several beach goers say they smelled gas after the explosion, but according to local gas and electric company company there are no gas lines

along this beach. >> this is unusual, this is very unusual. hence the precaution on clearing the beach. >> reporter: now authorities have combed the beach. their investigation is complete and they say there are no remaining public safety concerns. this beach will be open today. mary bruce abc news rhode island. the search in kentucky for a missing mother of five has been going on for more than a week with no sign of her. since crystal rogers disappeared police found one major clue, her car, it was found on the side of a highway with a flat tire. her sister raised concerns about her live in boyfriend the father of her two-year-old son. >> his stories just don't add up. you just don't go to bed one night and not know that she is gone and not worry when she left

butler county, pennsylvania found out the hard way. she took her black lab to the vet when she wasn't feeling well. there was a mysterious mass in her belly that's when they found this four rubber bands, 62 hair bands, a band-aid, 8 pairs of underwear, all pull from the pup's stomach. she is recovering and expected to be just fine. she is not the only dog with unusual taste. that same vet removed 15 pacifiers from a different dog. tikki has varying taste. >> reporter: our dog doesn't eat pacifiers, but every time our daughter or son throws good off the highchair he cleans it up.
