and woman were shot. >> this happened within the hour. let's go to jeff chirico what do we know. >> we're still piecing together details right now this is where we're told the shooting took place. or at least the victims it were picked up. not much of a crime scene now. over the past 15 minutes since we arrived here we've seen plenty of law enforcement walking up and down the streets with flashlight in hand looking for the shooter. what we do know is that two people were shot. a woman was apparently shot in the stomach and man shot two times in the leg. both we're told were transported to einstein for treatment here. and at this point, we're unsure where the shooter is of course or how he got here. there's been some calls for looking for someone on a bicycle with a gun. we're trying to piece together to figure outta whether that's the shooter or another victim. but right now what we do know is that two people were shot a man and woman taken to einstein and we're not certain of the conditions now. once between here on the 1600 block of widener street in logan

section we understand a shooting took place around 10:10 tonight at least two people hurt and police walking up and down this area right now looking for the shooter. well will stay out here and continue to bring you updates as we get them. right now live in the logan section of philadelphia, jeff chirico "channel 6 action news." >> the body of missing boater has been recovered from the delaware river and his family says he was celebrating his 46 birthday when he jumped into the water and never came up. and that is our other top story tonightch the search has ended for missing boater in the delaware river. >> the body of 46-year-old chris callen as recovered from the water near national park new jersey allen drowned on a day that was supposed to be one of celebration. "action news" reporter annie mccormick is live at the scene in gloucester county and annie, you spoke with the victim's family. >> reporter: walter, that's right. the victim was recovered around 8:30 this evening by new jersey state police. this say joint effort by multiple agencies out on the

water for several hours. the family says he actually jumped off the boat to go for a swim. he never resurfaced. new jersey state police and u.s. coastguard and philadelphia police's marine unit all converged on this stretch of the delaware dell and national state park searching for this man chris allen and his family tells "action news" on the sapd bar she jumped off the friend's boat without a life vest like he did so many times before and current pulled him over. dawn miller was out on the water and saw people try to help. >> and there was a other gentleman a on a wave runner that seen him go down and tried to get over to him. and just as he got over to him he got sucked down again. >> it happened around 1:30 soon after rescue crews rushed to help and all boats were told to stay if place. >> we were like what's going on and people found out on jet skis they got cents back and said someone is drouping. >> i heard someone was drowning and saw all the cops. and then like instantly i just

critically injured while chasing three robbery suspect died. apolice say officer john wilding was pursuing three young teenagers accused of stealing an suv and leapt over a ivy covered wall and fell 15 feet and died from his injuries this morning. he was married with two children. the three suspects he was chasing were charged and arraigned. >> a woman was arrested this afternoon after police say she struck and killed a man riding a bike in the city hunting park section 1:00 at the intersection of second and bristol street and investigators say the 0-year-old victim was on his bicycle whl the woman tried to pass another vehicle by going into opposite lane she struck the man and simply took off. police caught one a short time later. the victim was taken to temle where he was pronounced dead. >> more than 100 people came out lower merion to support a teacher let go from her job because she's married to another

and action radar high pressure situated to the east. so tapping into that return flow and winds currently coming in out of south wrlly direction. so it's partly to mostly cloudy across some locations. and you notice this weak disturbance currently moving across the ohio valley and western sections of pennsylvania. a lot of this moisture will start to fizzle out as it travels east of appalachian and we're looking dry for the rest of the overnight hours and into the day on monday and in fact here is the setup tomorrow. high pressure to the east we're tracking this weak disturbance that moves on through and in between that however you have wind coming in from southerly direction and high team in city 86 degrees and you'll notice a difference when it comes to humidity. thunderstorm likely but it stays mainly north and west of 95 corridor. future tracker 6 showing you 6:00 in the morning we have sunshine. few more clouds roll on in. and fillederd sunshine as the day wears on and 12:30 in the afternoon you notice we do have a couple showers around. i think a lot this is dry and
