chattanooga. we are joined now live with new information about the gunman and his victims. >> it is being called an act of domestic terrorism and law enforcement is on high alert across the country. >> after the horrific shooting rampage at two centers in chattanooga, tennessee we are learning more about his tours in iraq. and a second victim has been identified as skill wells of marietta georgia. >> it's heart breaking circumstances for these individuals who have served our country with great valor to be killed in this fashion. >> reporter: in the light of day sullivan, wells were killed and

two others were injured in the fire fight. minutes before the same shooter pulled up to this navy recruiting center shooting one officer in the leg and taking off before anybody could respond and now we learn more information about the accused killers, described by classmates as an all american kid. she was in the class when they saw the planes hit the world trade center on 9/11. >> it was hard for everyone including muhammad. >> he was not even on the foib's watch list. back to you. >> thank you. >> police in darby bureau just arrested this man again accusing him of a second attempted abduction, they said that isaac approached a 10-year-old girl asking if she

wanted to get in his work van she was walking along darby terrace and ran home crying and her mom called 911. he is facing charges for stalking and trying to lure a child. now video you'll see on "action news." the suspects were brought to new town square to appear before a judge last night. they say that three women offered sex to law enforcement in exchange for money and arrested two men saying they knowingly drove the women to the hotel for the acts. an innocent woman drove into the crossfire of gun fire in philadelphia. one sliced into the back of her car and then into her back. she had to have surgery and police are still looking for the shooter. trish is live with the full story. >> reporter: well police say

that a 32-year-old woman from olney was driving at 17thth susquehanna was driving when a stray bullet pierced the back of her car and her back, but it was not until she got here to diamond until she realized she was hit. the victim heard shots while she was driving and one bullet hit her mazda. >> it was struck one time in the rear trunk area, it went through the seat and drivers seat and struck her in the back. >> police found evidence that ten shots were fired from a semi automatic weapon and vials of what appears to be crack cocaine believing it to be drug related. those passengers are talking to police. >> the rear seat passenger was very fortunate and lucky to be sitting on the passenger side rear of the vehicle, several feet away, about two feet away, if she was sitting behind the

driver she could have been shot in the back. >> officers say it was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. when the victim was taken to the hospital she was in critical condition and is now updated to stable condition police don't have any suspects if you anything about what happened police would like to hear from you. trish hartman, channel 6 "action news." >> thanks trish. two fathers from south jersey are accused of brawling at a softball tournament in convenientner. their daughters were former teammates and that barbela drove there for a dispute and this show its escalating into a bloody bruising fight and police criticized the man that recorded the video he should have dialed

may feel more heat when we start a heat wave that could start this weekend. melissa magee is in for david murphy with an accuweather preview. >> it's a nice finish to our work week, a sunshine and puffy cumulous clouds. it's 80 in philadelphia at this hour 70 at the poconos and 79 in beach haven and 76 out to the west in lancaster we are actually tapping into the southerly wind flow and the dew point numbers are coming up from where they were yesterday. any time you have dew point temperature its from 60 to 65 degrees it's slightly humid overhead but nothing unbearable. still comfortable and not bad as 59 if you are at the shore or the poconos, a few afternoon clouds, sunny and 84 and sunny and nice at the shore at 78 and sun to clouds at the poconos a temperature of 75.

violent storms left plenty of damage in illinois the national weather service will decide how many tornadoes swept through the state last night. the town of cameron was hit hard only 600 people live there and nobody can return until they finish checking for gas leaks and other dangers the last time a tornado touched down there was in 1989. this is one year since malaysia flight mh 17 was shut down over the ukraine, the disaster hit that country the hardest. 298 people were killed in the crash and the plane went down during the rising conflict between it russia and ukraine, the team of investigators are working to find out exactly who shot it down, their report is expected sometime next year. we have reports of lasers being pointed at commercial flights over new jersey this week, 11

incidents were reported on wednesday night and the faa says there were 23 additional cases and they all happened the same night and spread out across the country, federal authorities have not figured out where the lasers were coming from and if they are all related. the fbi is investigating. a 911 dispatcher may have led to a woman's death. tammy ford called 911 because she was having trouble breathing, crews were sent to a different apartment complex. when ems arrived it was too late family members and even the firefighters who responded believe the lost time could have made a difference between life and death. the man in upstate new york was accused of stealing a hearse during a funeral. police say that michael healy got behind the wheel while the family was at church, he decided

on the hearse because he knew the keys were inside. they found the hearse 15 miles away and placed healy under arrest. drivers hit the jackpot inside of the baltimore tunnel this week, cash started to spill out of the back of an armored truck and it it was spread out through the whole mile and a half tube. and in the men time the tunnel had to be closed. drivers who stopped to help clean the mess have been ordered to return the stolen cash tore face charges of theft. still on "action news," details on a massive chicken recall because of salmonella fears and the reason this girl is smiling, it's because of a medical break through that changed her life and her grades.

three similar but separate crashes overnight. detectives are still trying to piece together the last moments of a drexel university graduate found dead in her apartment. jasmine wright was founded in her apartment she had been beaten and strangled. david henry is live with the story. >> >> reporter: we are learning more about the murder investigation into the death of this young woman who seemed to have everything going for her after graduating from drexel with a masters degree just four weeks ago. 27-year-old jasmine wright was found dead in the rear bedroom of her apartment she appears to have been strangled and suffocated. she was fully clothed and no signs of sexual assault and it appears she knew her killer because there was no signs of forced
