sparked a shooting late last night in north philadelphia that ended with a woman critically injured. investigators say at 11:30 two people were walking down 2400 block of north seventh street when they came a across a woman lying in the alley with a gunshot wound to the head. they also say there was a gun on the ground next to her. the pair ran to get help and when they return a man was standing there and the gun was missing. man fled, paramedics quickly arrived and victim was taken to temple hospital in critical condition. from our new jersey news room police surrounded a home on north 26th street overnight after a 911 call about a man being shot inside that home but officers say a woman who answered the door refused to let them in. they forced their way inside where they discovered a 41 year-old man on the bedroom floor with a gun shot wound. he was taken to cooper university hospital in critical condition. two women inside that house are being questioned by investigators. the abington township police department stuffed a
