wrapped around a telephone pole on 130 northbound near the liberty diner that will back up fast. another accident happening right now. blue route, schuylkill expressway i-95 in good shape. the big accidents right now are in new jersey, tam. >> thank you karen. this story is developing right now, a him crime as heartbreaking as it was brazen. a father watched in agony as a man executed his son on a philadelphia street. katherine scott is live at police headquarters with the details. >> reporter: good morning, tam that father took off running after the gunman but he was unable to catch the gunman, the search is on. the 21-year-old man was shot in the face and died overnight at the hospital. this happened at 11:15 in the logan section of the city. when the police arrived they found the 21-year-old man unconscious in the street.

he was rushed to the hospital and later died. but after that 21-year-old was shot at pointblank range in front of his father, police say the father took off running after the gunman -- after chasing him for about a block the shooter turned around and opened fire. he fired two shots but the father was not hit. the investigators believe the victim was targeted. the search is on for the gunman. >> the shooter is described as a male wearing all black or dark clothing leaving in a black toyota south on 4th street. >> reporter: police are looking for surveillance footage in the area. they are hoping to get tips from the public, if you have any tips call the homicide division, we're live at police headquarters, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. another developing story this morning this one out of california. one driver is injured after an

he elevated section of interstate ten collapsed after heavy rain. the bridge snapped and washed away in floodwaters below. one driver had to be rescued from a pickup truck that crashed in the collapse. >> heat caused a robs during a two-alarm blaze in new castle delaware. two people were injured the fire broke out at the pepper ridge townhouse community on the 4900 block of rain tree court. one person was treated for a heat related issue another person was injured, but victims are in stable condition. there are new details about the disturbing allegation also against comedian bill cosby. >> in a deposition given by bill cosby in 2005 he spoke about numerous affairs saying they were consensual. he worked hard to keep them from his wife. he gave the deposition when she was being sued by andrea

location. this is belmawr, camden county. intersection of the black horse pike and east browning road. if you're in the area, you meant to be careful. this is in between where people go to get to the new jersey turnpike and 295. usually people take 168 the black horse pike instead of 42. you want to take 42 today. 130 northbound an accident chopper 6 on the scene. you can see what happened here, we've got this pickkup truck that wrapped around a pole. this is 130 northbound off the liberty ii diner. the problem with this you look at this tight shot. you think that's not a big deal. this could be a mess if you have one lane blocked for any length of time. hadn't happened just yet.

but if it stays out here any longer we could have a problem. we have police on the scene blocking a lane. i-95 southbound at cottman you can see the flashing lights on i-95 southbound as you're trying to head toward center city you're going through the construction zone. you have a problem right there. if that's not a enough, a disabled tractor-trailer eastbound at belmont. >> we have a developing story that is sad. a man watched in horror as a gunman shot and killed his son a philadelphia street. katherine scott is at the police headquarters with the latest. >> reporter: that's right, tam this 21-year-old man was shot right in front of his father, the detectives at the homicide division are investigating. it happened at 11:15 at

winghocking and lawrence street. multiple 911 calls came in. when police arrived they found a 21-year-old victim on the ground. he was rushed to the hospital and later died. he was shot in the face right in front of his father. the father took off after the gunman. after chasing him about a block the shooter turned around and shot at the fire. he fired two shots but the father was not hit. investigator are speaking to witnesses and they do believe the witness was targeted. >> we believe the 21-year-old was an intended target. right where the 21-year-old victim collapsed after being shot in the face, we found a spent shell casing feet from his body which is an indication that the shooter fired the shot at pointblank range. >> reporter: all businesses nearby with private surveillance cameras, police are hoping

vehicle completely on its roof. they are trying to sweep away the debris on the south black horse bike pike at browning road causing a problem in the area. black horse pike at browning road. police have the area blocked off. they are organ hand directing traffic at the scene. in addition to the debris on the road they have the traffic lights out, you can see the action cam on the scene showing it's a mess in a busy area in camden county new jersey. this is the accident scene it happened between 295 and the new jersey turnpike. sometimes you take 168 instead of 42. take 42 instead. we have a mess browning road and 168. the other accident scene we're following chopper 6 live own the scene burlington county mansfield township. we can see an accident involving a truck that wrapped itself

around a pole. crews have left the scene, last time i looked they were trying to fix the wires. here. they are currently blocking the right lane on 130 northbound. it's blocked in a busy area near the liberty ii diner. the trouble with 130 it can back up in this area, it can cause a problem with one lane blocked. chopper 6 pans back we can see traffic is getting jammed up. we talked about an accident that was causing a problem and on the big picture we can see the accident cleared on i-95 near cottman. nonetheless, speeds are 12 miles per hour. on the schuylkill expressway eastbound we had a disabled tractor-trailer, but you're looking at 19 miles per hour near bell belmont. a quick look at the temperatures, 81 degrees in at this time already.

heading up to 96 today. tam. >> thank you karen. two brothers rescued a woman out of her burning car we just got this video in of the car bursting into flames after it hit a gas pump in oregon. the brothers saw the woman yelling for help. one broke the glass with her bare -- one broke the glass with his bare hands. >> she said thank you and gave me a hug. >> everyone walked away with minor injuries. no one knows what caused the woman to run into the gas pumps. >> a chicago community came together after a woman was found dead in her jail cell. the church memorial service was held for sandra bland.

authorities say she hanged herself, but the family is calling for an independent autopsy. >> we want to understand how this played out and what was the real cause of death. >> bland was pulled over in texas for a traffic violation. police say she kicked an officer and was arrested. they say she hanged herself with a plastic bag. but her family does not believe she committed suicide.
