master's grad from drexel that lived in third floor apartment on 50th street. two weeks ago harris was fired from maintenance job in wright's apartment build egg and never surrendered keys to building own area last week he broke into her apartment 30 minutes before she arrived. >> she was on her cellphone talking to her mother who lived in virginia. at name time he attacked her. we know that because the mother said the phone goes dead. >> harris had 31 prior arrests prior to this arrested several times for sexual assault robbery, burglary and even murder of his own father back in 1982. >> i mean he's a monster and we're very happy to get him off the streets. >> what this monster was doing on the streets in the first place be fudled police. >> it's a hard pill to swallow for us. hopefully now we got it right and hopefully he'll spend the right of his life in jail like he should have been a long time ago. >> captain clark could not say enough about the people that worked so hard on the case. >> homicide detectives burke and joyce worked around the clock kudos to the crime scene unit
