well. these numbers are hot and uncomfortable, and far from the numbers we saw a little more than a week ago when the heat index was between 100 and 105, a little better but still pretty hot. radar down to the south we saw quick moving downpours down to dover, dropping temperatures to the 70s and it bounced back up and mainly through sussex county drifting into southern cape may county and if they hold together they hit parts of cape may and wildwood and as far north as stone harbor. it feels like 112 in memphis, and 104 new orleans and the same for jacksonville where the heat and heart of this extreme humidity remains throughout the rest of the week double scan live radar we are tracking a front to the west, in the western ohio valley with downpours and storms that moves through tomorrow and we'll track that for you in the upcoming

are theying it off the atlantic ocean, and as we look at the heat indexes, 90 in trenton and 95 wilmington and typical for late july to see that it feels like the mid-90s out there and down to the south dover and millville at 89 degrees. tonight it's very warm and stuffy out there and 72 in the lehigh valley 77 for philadelphia and 73 in millville and atlantic city 75 degrees. to the west there is a cold front approaching and this flows a lot of clouds tomorrow and on and off downpours and brings a big relief in the humidity department for friday. as we track this on future tracker there could be energy tomorrow morning to pop a downpour in the region with a lot of clouds, again a lot of clouds tomorrow and peeks of sun and that will determine if we hit the 90 degrees and by 4:00, that is when the front passes through and we'll see the

medics had to amputate a man's leg this morning after he ended up trapped under a train in northeast philadelphia, it it it happened at 2:45 this morning on grant avenue and welsh road, crew had to cut through a fence and amputate the leg to get him free. they have not yet told us his name. one man is dead and another man is in the hospital after an early morning shooting in newcastle on martin drive after midnight. it started when a group of men forceded their way into a garage. and he was hit in the leg and expected to survive police have not yet made any arrests. police are asking toer your help to find the man that robbed a 7-11 in the lawndale section.

the hit and run and death of a little boy back in april. she turned herself in more than three months after the 3-year-old was killed. he was killed when he ran into the street and detectives made contact with the driver but were not able to arrest her. no further information will be released on the woman unless she is formerly charged . they have arrested the fake safety official that stole drugs from a pharmacy and carjacked a priest last month. he used a gun to steal adderall and then carjacked the priest who happened to be in the parking lot he is facing a number of charges, including robbery and aggravated assault. delaware state police have arrested a man for robbing a gas station and shooting the clerk
