family sun morning and now they say that burton also tried to stab his 4-year-old son but his wife stopped him. he was arrested in maryland hours later and now faces charges including one count of attempted murder. firefighters were overcome by heat while fighting a fire at a restaurant in delaware county. this is iron wood brewery at noon officials say that the fire was in the building's ventilation system and there was damage done inside but the restaurant was not destroyed. extra firefighters were called in to give the initial responders a helping hand and to help them take a break. they were cooled off with wet towels and had their vitals check with the paramedics on the scene newcastle county hosted a memorial for firefighters from five states today. it was part of the 114th annual coupleber land valley fireman's

right now are across burlington and crossing route 30 over hammonton, 26 lightning strikes over the last few minutes and they are dropping heavy rain over a short period of time. penny pot and west coastsville and chads worth all in the path of this line. and the actual line is ahead of the cold front that moves through later tonight and you'll feel a difference in the air mass it's also dropping a lots of rain, allentown reporting 1.35 inches of rain and reading is.41 and trenton is tropped off to a half inch of rain and philadelphia a half inch of rain, we have not had a lot of rain locally so this is welcome, what is really welcome is the drop in the humidity today was oppressive again 90 degrees the air temperature so far, this is heat wave number three but the highest heat indexes show millville, it felt like 100 today and philadelphia 99 and

trenton 98 and at the shore 96 degrees, and although it will drop in humidity it will be a hot day but not nearly as oppressive. allentown 82 and wilmington 75 and the atlantic city airport 82 degrees for tonight, once the storms roll off the coast than should happen by 9:00 or so the humidity will be dropping and 72 degrees in philadelphia allentown 64 and trenton 68 and cape may 63 degrees, this the line of storms sweeping through and the actual cold front comes through around sock and the storms move east at 35 miles per hour and by 7:30, most of the activity off the coast and spotty shower activity in the wee hours of the morning before the sunshine returns tomorrow and the heat is still here, we'll likely be in our heat wave but it will feel a lot better
