island is not connected to the missing malaysian flight. on wednesday a wing flap turned up. this morning malaysian authorities confirm the flap is from a boeing 777. it is the same type of aircraft as mh370. the plane disappeared last march. 239 people were on board. here at home, police in coatsville, chester county are investigating after gunfire broke out early this morning. several residents called police at 1:00 a.m. saying they heard shots rang out. when officers arrived they found the street littered with shell casings. the there were no reports of injuries. a massive manhunt is underway in memphis tennessee after a police officer was gunned down during a traffic

stop. police say 33-year-old officer sean bolton was conducted the stop when he was shot multiple times. he died at the hospital. the mayor said the shooting speaks volumes about the inherent danger of police work. >> men and women in blue have certain rules of engagement they have to follow, but at any given minute in a 24 hour day, they are dealing with folks who have no rules of engagement. so. >> authorities are using all available resources to find officer bolton's killer, the third memphis police officer to be shot since 201 #. >> friends and family came together to pay tribute to the three lives lost in the horrific crash in bustleton section. >> we need to show our young people how dangerous this is. >> reporter: family and friends shared hugs and shed tears at the tree where three young lives came to an end wednesday night.

street. the boy was conscious and alert when he was taken to the hospital. the 17-year-old is going to be prosecuted as an adult. a volunteer firefighters and emt was killed by a train in levittown yesterday. the train was on its way from new york to philadelphia when it hit and killed the man. he has been identified as 27-year-old george redner iii of tullytown. the strike by verizon 39,000 union workers is on hold for now. the contract expired but early this morning the union announce they will stay on the job. a verizon official says the wireless carrier is dewpoint the the two sides -- disappointed the two sides has not reach an agreement. the union want to limit the 401k benefit match pour freeze the
