kathleen kane, is facing criminal charges. montgomery county's top prosecutor just made the announcement in norristown and john rawlins is there with more details on the case against kane. >> reporter: well, crime and a coverup, that is the alligation it is alleged that the attorney general is at the center of a conspiracy and the attorney general was behind it. the case was announced by the da in the last hour. >> this team determined that attorney general, kathleen kane deviced a scheme to leak confidential information and secret grand jury materials direct books directly to political operatives in the hopes of embarrassing whom she

believed made her look bad. >> she says it's a revenge plot because of bad press that embarrassed kane. >> these facts exposed by the evidence we gathered and in the attorney general's own word this is war. this was her war based on the evidence conducted without regard to the rules and without regard to the law and without regard to any collateral damage. >> reporter: a short time ago the attorney general released a statement that reads in part i am disappointed that the district attorney decided to pursue this case and i deny these allegations and continue to do so today. i will defend myself against these charges and look forward

who they are looking for. a suspected drunk driver was allowed to get on the runway in new orleans. we took out two fences and taxis on to the runway the man got through all layers of security fortunately he did not cause any other damage and was finally arrested just off airport property and was charged with hit and run and drunk driving. a 911 dispatcher is being disciplined for hanging up on someone that asked for help listen to what she toll the medics. the dispatcher offered no additional help after a man lost consciousness at a fitness center in gary indiana.
