washington. lawmen are now talking to the driver. it is tuesday night, and the big story on "action news" tonight is the latest on a fatal hit and run. "action news" reporter, annie mccormick, is live right outside of police headquarters where the accident took place. you learned the identity of the victim and more details of the accident. >> and jim that's right. 46-year-old joseph heard was literally killed in the hit and run in the shadows of police headquarters. this hour no charges have been filed. the police do believe that a bus is responsible. but which bus and who is behind the wheel is still to be determined. in this south philadelphia garage, police spent the evening investigating this tour bus that the police suspect may have been involved in a hit and run that killed 46-year-old joseph heard this morning. police say just before 10:00 a.m. heard made it half way through the crosswalk at race and franklin when the police believe that a bus hit and dragged him 50 feet and then kept going. police contacted the d.c.-bound driver of this tour bus that looks similar to the one caught

on surveillance video and ordered the driver to turn around, back to this garage in the 2400 block of swanson. >> we have officers down there inspecting the bus, talking to the driver and trying to get information to piece it together. >> the owner of the bus company tells "action news" they are actually cooperating. the driver and owner spent the afternoon with detectives, and the police are not ruling out the possibility of whoever hit heard may not have realized it. >> it happens unfortunately quite often where the driver in the bus doesn't realize they struck something or somebody. it is early on yet, we have to talk to the driver of the bus and see what we have. >> and jim, as for the bus in question, we are told there were about 20 people onboard. the police are still working to track those people down and interview them. now they're only releases still pictures of the surveillance picture because we are told that the video is just too graphic. if you have any information, you are urged to contacts police. reporting on franklin square,

annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. mourners joined handin handinin -- hand-in-hand to pray at the spot of a triple shooting yesterday. a mother was killed in front of her 4-year-old daughter. that little girl was also shot in the barrage of bullets and is in stable condition. the police identified the victim, and a 51-year-old woman was also shot but survived. this afternoon's torrential rain led to street flooding. and the drivers trying to traverse a martin luther king drive near the strawberry mansion bridge tonight. looking at stormtracker 6, the rain is out of here. meteorologist cecily tynan is now here with dramatic changes that swept in behind the storm.

72 degrees. dewpoints in the 60s. they were in the 70s earlier today and are dropping down into the 50s. and satellite 6, along with actions radar, show we have clouds near philadelphia beginning to clear out to the west. with wind out of the northwest tomorrow, we will see a good amount of sunshine, especially the first half of the day. it will be seasonably warm, 85 degrees. but low humidity and breezy. there is some cold air in the upper atmosphere that can trigger an instability shower in the afternoon. i don't think they will be widespread. the best chance north of philadelphia and isolated. thursday still looks to be the pick of the week. low humidity. plenty of sunshine. 83 degrees the temperature, slightly below normal for this time of the year. down the shore tomorrow enjoy it, a nice day. the only problem tomorrow, you won't be getting a sea breeze. you'll get the land breeze, and that's why it could be a problem. but otherwise sun mixes with clouds with a high of 83 degrees. very comfortable. so the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, we're in the comfort zone tomorrow.
