showers for friday, after all the rain this afternoon if parts of philadelphia and buck county, the national weather service issued a flash flood warning until 7:30 there, this is starting to diminish in its intensity. we have rain working up to the northeast of 611, only four lightning strikes in the past 15 minutes, this is beginning to rain itself out. we had one heavy downpour in north philadelphia over west wyoming avenue, no lightning strikes just a heavy downpour and this is moving up to the north towards west godfrey avenue, we'll see more of these happening tomorrow afternoon into friday morning, as the cold front finally moves through, but today we have a bonus day with the heat, 92 the high so far in philadelphia, enough mid-day sunshine to make this thetive

again and wilmington got a shower this afternoon, this cooled the temperature from the high of 86, and the sea breeze is only 83 degrees, trenton a rain cooled 78 degrees, millville 86 and cape may 80 and wilmington 82 degrees, satellite 6 along with action radar it doesn't look much different than yesterday, the cold front is just limping to the east and ahead of it we have all of these moisture bubbling up with the winds from the southeast, that creates a setup for a good soaking especially for tomorrow night into friday morning, the slow moving cold front provides lift to see out of atmosphere and any downpour could have 1 to 3 inches of rain and the most active period could be friday night into saturday morning. tropical storm danny looks to become a category one hurricane
