4:00 p.m. no threatening weather expected. there's a spotty chance of a shower as we get into tomorrow afternoon. not everybody sees it, if you do pick it up, it will not amount to much. the we'll have a eagles preview and tropical update coming up next. >> new this morning, a family finds their son shot in the street. they couldn't save him. his family ran outside and put him in the car and rushed him to the hospital. that's where they got the heartbreaking news he died. police are looking for the gunman, investigators are looking into whether the shooter and the victim got into an earlier fight at a tavern. another man is fighting for his life after another case of gun violence overnight in philadelphia. someone shot a 21-year-old man in grays ferry shot in the chest and legs at 31 and dickenson.

he staggered to his home and collapsed before taken inside. he was taken to penn presbyterian where's in critical condition. a husband and wife were robbed inside their northeast philadelphia home. the children were inside during the break in on the 2600 block of distan. nobody was hurt. jerome reid's family will unite with the national awareness alliance the group that helps people of oppression. the grand jury concluded the officers acted reasonable believing their lives were in danger. she shot reid during a traffic stop. they say after he removed a gun from the car he divide orders to stay in the car. reid's hands were raised at the time of the shooting. his family is preparing a civil

lawsuit. officials in delaware are offering a reward to track down a murder. back in 2013 an argument outside a party in newark escalated into a gun fight. diandre green was caught in the fire and killed. >> it hurts, it really hurts. i lost my baby. >> reporter: been nearly two years since her son was caught in the crossfire and killed during a birthday at the brook side community center, but the pain is still piercing. >> it's been hell, i miss my son every single day. >> it's so unfair how could you do everything right and everything so wrong happened. i got to live with that. >> i interviewed 150 people and not one bad thing was said about this kid.

the 63-year-old shot a security guard after he entered the buildings. he is a veteran and formal federal employee, but they have not released information about a motive. an investigation is underway at a delaware oil refinery after an equipment problem set up a fire. chopper 6 was above the plant in delaware city yesterday. authorities say the fire started in a section of the plant called the catlytic cracker. police departments around the garden state have a warning for drivers drive sober or get pulled over. they received ten thousand dollars in grants to fight fighting. saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints are set up all over the state. last year's crackdown resulted

you don't have to worry about that, it will be warm this weekend, finally by tuesday it will feel a whole lot better out there. temperatures drop into the 80s, no humidity, i'll have the details in the seven day coming up in just a bit. eva? >> new this morning, philadelphia police are investigating whether a violent shooting was the result of a robbery gone wrong. the action cam was on the scene on the 2000 block of south 60th street in southwest philadelphia. a 54-year-old man was shot in the head outside his car, rushed to penn presbyterian by police in critical condition. police have no suspects in that shooting. new overnight another shooting this one in strawberry mansion leaves a 31-year-old man in critical condition this morning. this shooting happened in the 2800 block of west hunting street around 2 coal 30. the victim was rushed into surgery at temple university hospital shot in the stomach and arm. police are sorting out what led to the gunfire and who fired those shots. a 21-year-old woman was hit

by a car on her way to see r&b star chris brown in concert. the woman was seriously injured thrown 20 feet down the street. the driver stopped at the scene, the 61 hurn -- hundred block of passyunk avenue. medics took her to the hospital to be treated for broken leg and bruises. police are still investigating. a philadelphia police officer is on the other side of the law this morning. he is accused of trying to extort a driver into buying a pair of show tickets or lose his car. fbi for alleged campaign fraud. the investigation is to determine whether campaign funds were misused on personal expenses. subpoenas have been served to the political action committee. he has not been charged and denies the allegations. a 2,500-dollar reward is being offered for information in the killing of twin brothers in camden. 26-year-old maurice and marquees harper were shot to death inside a running car yesterday morning. investigators think the brothers were dead for several hours before being spotted by a passing driver. if you know anything that happened call camden police. police in chester county solved the murder of a 17-year-old boy whose body was left along the side of a road. four people were charged with killing kristin santiago. police sea say they set up a
