the family ran outside and put him in the car and rushed him to the hospital. that's when they got the heartbreaking news, he died. the trigger man is on the run. investigator are looking into whether the shooter and the victim got into an earlier fight at a taproom. a 21-year-old woman was hit by a car on the way to see r&b star chris brown. the woman was thrown 20 feet by the vanity grand where chris brown was taking the stage. medics took the woman to penn presbyterian to be treated for broken leg and bruises. the driver stopped and talked to police, no arrests have been reported. police are investigating. a philadelphia police officer is off the streets and in hot water this morning, officials say he was caught on camera is trying to is to extort a driver into buying tickets to a charity event. dann cuellar has it the details. >> reporter: commanders at headquarters are embarrassed saying training tow academy

the search for the gunman continues. another case of gun violence overnight in philadelphia. this one critically wounded a 21-year-old man in grays ferry shot in the chest and legs of 31st and dickenson. he collapsed before getting inside his home. no arrests or a motive. police are searching for two men behind a frightening home invasion in northeast philadelphia. two masked men forced their way into a home before 11:00 p.m. a maryland couple and their two young children were inside. fortunately nobody was hurt. police say the men stole a few hundred dollars before taking over. happening today, the family of a man shot and killed by a bridgeton, new jersey police officer will call for action. jerome reid's family will unite with the national awareness alliance that helps people of oppression.
