police and they and medics arrived on scene. they went in the garage and they found two boxes with decomposed bodies, one body in each box and a coffin with another decomposed body, we are told there is a funeral home around the corner and that funeral home owns this building, obviously police tell me this is not the way you store bodies when they are being prepared for a funeral or burial, this appears to be an abuse of corpse investigation, and i am told that the owner of the funeral home is arriving on scene and we also know that they are searching the funeral home to see the conditions inside of there. but really a gross situation out here. the smell is terrible and residents say they began to smell this over the last few days and the resident went

will not just effect those in the stock market but whether or not to raise interest rates. rick back to you. >> thank you. back here philadelphia work crews are on the scene of a sinkhole, nearby 24 hours after it opened in the city's kensington section, the sinkhole opened 3:00 yesterday afternoon at the corner of tulip and huntington streets, this morning it's fenced off with no sign of a fix in sight. katherine scott is live on the scene with more on the story. >> rick, the good news is, nobody was hurt and nobody lost water, and they are making progress, and there is still a lot of work to do at this interests section of huntington and tulip, hunting did open up for a couple of hours but is closed for these repairs. >> before this huge hole opened

up a 12 inch water main break at 3:30 yesterday afternoon, the water was gushing up, gushing up good. >> and soon the concrete started to give away at huntington and tulip and the hole got bigger and bigger. >> it started to crack up the whole industry. >> it was the size of a tennis ball hole and water started to soot out and then we went down for a nape and by the time we woke up the whole street was caved in. it was crazy. >> crews from philadelphia gas works and the water department stay throughout the night working at the site. the work continued this morning, there was no disruptions to water or gas service. traffic was being diverted and some were making due, i drive motorcycles so i don't get stuck.

>> and back here live at the intersection of huntsing ton and tulip, where crews are removing a piece of that ruptured main, the water department says they don't know what caused the water main break but at this point there is no official word on when the street will reopen. we are live at kensington, katherine scott, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. philadelphia police are looking for the gunman that shot three people in kensington, the shooter unleashed a barrage of bullets where children were playing just before dinner time, is the fired shot from the top of a gold minivan, a woman and child and man described as innocent victims were wounded. >> we know that at least five shots were fired from three separate weapons. >> all the victims are expected to live and investigators believe that the shootings are

in connection with another shoot that happened on the same block a day earlier. the investigation continues. new at noon now, nearly half of pennsylvania voters say that state attorney general, kathleen kane should resign. she is being held that she leaked confidential information to the press and lie the about in under oath. according to a quinnipiac poll, only 27% say she should stay in office. she says she plans to run for re-election. they disproffer of kane's performance of office and only 20% approved. meanwhile kane is due back in court in october. turning to accuweather and the drop in humidity is headed our way, looking at sky 6 hd with a pretty picture of the center city skyline, it started off warm and muggy and we are on track for one of the nicest weeks of summer, so says karen

the chester county courthouse in westchester is being evacuated. it's not clear why at this time and police are on the scene and investigating. once again the courthouse in chester is being evacuated. in other news, a new survey shows satisfaction of american drivers with car companies is at its lowest level since 2004. 4300 people were surveyed and most cited recalls for think reason for dissatisfaction, the third year in a row that people's attitudes toward car companies worsened. the national average for a gallon of gas is $2.59, the lowest average for late august in more than a decade. in the philadelphia $2.59 a gallon, down 48 cents from this time last year, gas in delaware

meteorologist, karen rogers is here now with a look at the forecast. >> it's beautiful, lots of sunshine and low humidity, staying pretty dry, lets take a look now at stormtracker 6 live double scan, the one fly in the ointment is the batch of showers to our south, we are going up close toward that right now, this is related to the front limping off the coastline, while we have improved conditions rather quickly in the city, still struggling at the shore and showers near milford and dover, pulling up from the south, we'll see if they survive across the bay and head into south jersey, we are watching for a spotty shower down at the shore, and lets go outside and see what is looks like. the ben franklin bridge not a cloud not sky, clear conditions looking at the ben.

85, certainly warm, the dew point 53, dropping dramatically since this morning when it was 70. the pressure is holding steady and as we look at satellite 6 along with action radar you can see how that front pressed through in the overnight hours, and we have the showers we are watching well down to the south, clouds hugging the coastline as well and in edition to that it feels humid at the shore unlike philadelphia and the rest of the region, you see the clouds to the north and west and that is centered around and area of low pressure, in fact as you look at this picture, not a whole lot happening weather wise, we'll have a quiet period where we are dry and lots of sunshine and low humidity, you feel the low humidity all day in the lehigh valley and much less humid and 83 degrees and nice and comfortable, at the shore it's still humid, oppressively humid
