dozens of people are out of their homes today after a huge fire at an apartment building in king of prussia, chopper 6 hd flew overhead today showing us the heavy damage from above and as you can see some people lost everything. eva pilgram is live at the scene and the good news here is that everyone was able to get out safely. >> reporter: that is right, everybody got out safely, this huge fire destroyed the upper merion apartment building, at this point firefighters have build up a barrier and it appears to be accidental and they think it started somewhere outside. flames forced 30 people out of their beds in the middle of the night at 1:30 in the morning at

both of the motorcycles now are put on that flat bed truck to be towed away, and you can see the vehicle there, there must have been some type of fire, you can see the charred remains of the car on the side of the road and one operator of a motorcycle has suffered major injuries and is being flown to newark trauma center. this happened in brandywine at grub road and andy lane. it involves two motorcycles and a car. there there in -- one man is dead and another in the hospital after a crash that split a car in half. chopper 6 hd was off the wreck at beverly road, police say that the driver lost control at 2:30 this morning and hit a pole that

reporter, chad pradelli is live with the latest on the investigation, chad quite the scene there today. >> nydia, let me set the scene here for you, this is what police tell me, one officer was there in the middle of the road outside of his police vehicle and the suspect was halfway down the sidewalk and police say he had his gun drawn and another officer was running down the block on the sidewalk when the shooting unfolded. this is the semi automatic handgun that the suspect, marquiscanlin had. one officer jumped out of the vehicle and chased on foot as his partner chased in the vehicle, the man turned the corner and waited for the

tragedy strikes a television station in virginia, a reporter and camera man were shot to death during a live broad cast this morning, the tonight the gunman, a fellow journalist is dead. sharrie williams is joining us and the big story on "action news" is the latest on the deadly ambush outside of roanoke that took the lives of two different people. >> we learned that the gunman was fired from the station two years ago, the very same station where the victims worked. lester flannigan died after a self-inflicted gunshot wound after he shot and killed allison parker and adam ward during a live interview with a tourism official, who was also shot and survived and is in critical condition. it's especially hard for the staff at wbdj, because parker was dating an anchor and ward was engaged to a
