it will pass about 200 miles northeast of the big island and maui. residents and vacationers are likely to see rough surf and strong rip currents. in the pacific northwest, people are cleaning up after strong wind storms. thousands lost power. most have had service restored. all major and secondary roads are now clear of fallen debris. let's get the complete forecast from accuweather's molly cochran. >> for monday, we're looking at localized flooding across florida. flash flood watches in effect from tampa into orlando. until monday night. erika's moisture funneled into the sunshine state. over the next couple of days, the rain could add up. two to four inches between tampa, orlando, and jacksonville. prepare for heavy travel delays as well. meanwhile, with keep an eye out

on hurricane ignacio. phillip and reena, back to you. >> all right, molly, thank you. breaking overnight, two southwest planes clipped each other at the airport in oakland, california. passengers posting alarming photos to social media. we want to show you the top part of one wing is broken off. we don't have that video right now. southwest says both aircraft have been taken out of service to undergo a maintenance check. no one was hurt. passengers were put on later flights. and a security breach at new york liberty airport forced the shutdown of a busy terminal. man was taken into custody after he entered a secure hallway through an exit door. the terminal was searched by dogs, leading to dozens of flight delays. the man was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. the suspect in the ambush of a sheriff is due in court today.

the suspect killed deputy darren goforth in a surprise attack. the two journalists shot to death on camera have been remembered at a community memorial service. alison parker and adam ward were gunned down last week. thousands turned out for a memorial service for three firefighters killed in the line of duty. the u.s. forest service fighters were battling those raging wild first in washington state, more than 80 vehicles took part in a procession leading to the service. others held u.s. flags and signs that read you are heroes. they died nearly two weeks ago after their vehicle crashed and flames rolled over them before they could escape. no sign of foul play in the death of a man at an

at least three people within injured in a boat fire near baltimore. they remain hospitalized. two other people on the boat were not injured. the coast guard and baltimore city crews were on the scene. a husband and wife are lucky to be alive this morning after their sing. -henin plane crashed many during an emergency landing in florida.

kenneth mckenzie and his wife, sonja, were on the way to maryland. the plane went down. both are in the hospital. tom brady and nfl commissioner roger goodell will be in court today for another deflategate suspension hearing. it's likely to be the last chance for lawyers from the nfl and its players' union to make their points about brady's four-game suspension that's looming. the judge could rule from the bench today. in the past, he said he would issue a ruling by this coming friday. doctors are cautiously optimistic about a new wireless pace maiker. it's a tenth the size of a conventional device. about as big as a aa battery. it doesn't require surgery to implant. it uses a catheter inserted through the right leg.

missing for more than a week says she's recovering after surgery on her broken leg. >> the 62-year-old hiker was missing for nine days. she was discovered saturday in a remote area of the sierra national forest. she blew a whistle to get the attention of the rescue team. her family was relieved and excited when they heard she was found. >> they couldn't stop screaming and crying. they were all in a car on the way up here. >> the more than 100 rescuers were also hampered by smoke from a nearby wildfire. with broken bones and huffering from hypothermia, it took her two days to crawl to a creek to sustain herself. tributes pouring in on social media overnight following the death of wes craven. he gave us "nightmare on elm street" and the many sequels. he wrote the entire scream series. he says his stories were
