precipitation for the next week. we have a nice stretch of weather on the way. when i come back we'll talk about that in the seven-day forecast. >> new this morning, a 17-year-old driver was killed in an overnight crash in bucks county. his three passengers were hurt. one of them is in critical condition. they were all in a pick up truck that went off lime kiln pike in new britain township around 1:00 p.m. the pick up hit a drainage ditch and snripped -- flipped over and struck a utility pole and mail box. the open beer cans were found inside the truck. they stressed to say they don't know if alcohol was a factor. a man was found shot in the head here in the 500 block of east avenue fairfield township cumberland county.

the man in his 20s was rushed to cooper university hospital in critical condition. who pulled the trigger and why remain unanswered. 55-year-old david sees died doing what he loved flying. the small plane he was piloting went down taking off from camden county airport plunging into the back yard of a home. his friend witnessed it all and what he heard could she shed lit on the tragedy. >> reporter: the piece of metal is all that is left from the single engine plane. the pilot, david sees of marlton was killed who flew over a friend's home along jackson road. >> he always flies over and waves. flipped the wings and waved to us. his friend said he was doing his traditional fly by when he heard the plane in trouble. >> he cut the plane, he tried

let's get you outside and show you what's going on. today will be gray and gloomy, as well. once we get past this afternoon it is smooth sailing in the weather department as far as i can see on the forecast models. it looks really, really nice. the view of cape may, the surf is rough the slightest breeze out of the west/northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. not a nice beach day, but not that bad around the delaware valley. double scan live crystal clear you see a few shades of green, a lot of this is ground clutter or false returns. there's nothing hit the ground. 65 degrees in philadelphia. dewpoint 58. wind out of the west picking up at 10 miles per hour. pressure reading holding steady. ushering in cooler numbers from the west. lancaster 57. dewpoints dropping into the 50s. poconos 57. philadelphia, 65. millville, 64. cape may, closing in on 70.

here's a look at the dewpoints. again, this is the way we measure the amount of moisture in the air. you stay under the 60-degree mark it is nice and refreshing. we have that from the delaware river to the points north and west. humid across south jersey and delaware. the air is blowing this way we'll shove all that moisture out to sea over the next three to four hours. watch what happens this afternoon, everybody pulls back into the 50s. it will feel really, really nice later on. certainly feeling like football weather for a change. the cooler weather is thanks to upper level low there's the surface downpours here's the upper level features coroner clockwise winds pulling in drier air from canada. all this moves on by and up into canada in the next 12 to 24 hours. over the lower 48 we have a huge sprawling area of low pressure, from west to east, the west coast looks nice, the front

>> reporter: we're actually seeing blue above, sunshine, cooler temperatures, it's actually somewhat chilly with the breeze kicking in out of the northwest. let's look at the rainfall totals, some of the higher numbers this is coming off thursday's two three inches of rain. i know philadelphia picked up 5 inches. we went from abnormal dry conditions to being drenched. lancaster, inch and a half. poconos 1.1. some areas didn't see much of anything at all. allentown a quarter afternoon inch. atlantic city .1. in south jersey i don't think i saw a single drop. it depends on where you were with how much rain you saw yesterday afternoon. double scan live is crystal clear, just a few clouds that's about it. as we widen out you go farther to the west you see the counter

all right here on 6abc. a local family turned to the "action news" troubleshooters for help to get their military dad home for leave from overseas. the family became desperate with after the airline canceled ticket they bought through price line. the family hasn't seen dad for 6 months. dad is stationed in south korea. he is supposed to come home for leave. thanks in part to a low airfare found on price line. she found a great sale price. >> round trip to the east coast $370. she said after she bought the ticket she called price line to make sure the fare was not a mistake. 89 price was good. i called korean air and they said the same thing. you're good to go.

>> reporter: 8 days later her husband got this e-mail. the ticket was canceled due to mistake in fare. >> he showed me the e-mail and i started crying. i called him and we were crying on phone. >> reporter: just this past may the department of transportation announced a new temporary policy that i will not pursue actions against airlines or companies for not honoring a mistaken fare. >> i was devastated why don't you want to help to get a military soldier home to his family. >> reporter: to buy that same ticket they would have to pay $1,850. she contacted price line and korean air again. she was told she would get a refunds of the $370 she paid. then she called on the "action news" trouble shooter. i contacted korean air and price line. >> price line didn't hem. korean air toll me the case was being handled by world span the
