and business in salem county, knowledge, chopper 6 hd is live over what is left of the building in pennsville, the debris is still smoking after the blast. "action news" obtained viewer video. we are told nobody was hurt. walter perez just arrived on the scene. >> reporter: hey guys, we'll give you a live look at the scene, utility crews and ocs are still here. the blast was reported at 8:00 this morning, the building houses a law office, but nobody was injured. a contractor was working on gas lines and reportedly struck a main, the gas build up and the pilot inside of the heater sparked an explosion. the damage is pretty thorough, police chief, alan cummings says

there is a reason why they respond so quickly to the keep. >> the police station is across the street, and when we got over here it was completely engulfed in flames, it appeared to have start with a gas line. there are people working in the area as we speak. >> back out live on the scene, can you see the building is pretty much obliterated. we'll have more on this coming up today at 4:00. walter perez, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. our other big story this hour is word that a local teenager is charged with plotting an attack on the pope. we started to report this on sunday but the suspect is a 15-year-old boy from outside of philadelphia, the fbi says he is inspired by isis and was contemplating an attack with

explosives. david henry has more now. >> the fbi and investigators are not identifying this boy and sources say he is a 15-year-old from the philadelphia area and apparently was not very far along in producing an operational plot of any kind. >> preparations for the pope's visit continue under tight security, and agents continue to monitor the internet and social media for threats. sources report that the fbi arrested the boy last month for allegedly plotting to launch an isis inspired attack on the pope. the bulletin says that the minor was inspired by isis and sought to conduct a homeland attack, including fire attackers and firearms and explosives and that he obtained explosive

instructions and shared them on social media, sources emphasize there was no imminent plan of action and there are questions about the boy's mental health, isis and other groups have made threats to the pope and vatican over the last year but there is no credible threats to the pope during his visit to the u.s. he will attend two events behind high security fences along the parkway, those inside of the fence will be heavily screened inside of check points. work continues on the area where the pope will attend the world meeting of families and people will be able to bring in food and water in small backpacks and coolers. and prohibited items are selfie sticks and weapons. and you can find a list of
