with the accuweather forecast. we're back on a good streak. >> reporter: we are we're back to our winning ways. this is the only issue we have in the next couple of days. we have fog that settled in and it is rather dense. the humidity has increased a little bit as the winds started to shift off the water. you can expect sudden reductions in visibility. if you're going to be traveling one minute the visibility might be fine, the next minute you can't see a thing. slow down your speeds keep the beams on low and keep plenty of distance between you and the car ahead of you. the visibility is half mile across south jersey, delaware, .3. millville, wildwood, beach haven, not reporting any visibility at this hour,.3 in atlantic city. now, once that fog lifts and let's say we'll use the

150 to 200,000 in the access area in purple. the new numbers are not some people. >> the secret service is warning people it could take two to three hours to get through security check points. a warning for those inside security zones officials will begin towing cars parked on the streets this weekend beginning at 6:00 p.m. there are exemptionses -- exemptions for people who have special placards. septa will sell one day regional rail passes available at jefferson and suburban station from 9:00 a.m. to

thieves have been getting cars from philadelphia to liberia. it was in operation for a year. >> reporter: only "action news" was there as the philadelphia police major crimes auto squad took down an international car theft ring. they had the three suspects under surveillance and watched them load three stolen 20150 vehicles into a shipping container bound for west africa. >> a lot of vehicles here are much more valuable in other countries that don't have the same access to those vehicles. >> reporter: the ring had been under investigation for several months after a 2015 range recovery similar to this was -- range rover was stolen from a company in west florida. the as you have had a gps tracking device. in all the trio and others are suspected of stealing 14 high

end vehicles valued at $500,000. police say the ring would steal vehicles from rental companies by using bogus identification or other accomplices who claim the cars were stolen and at least in one crime 2015, 9112 stolen from a home in montgomery county. it is suspected that the key may have been made for the car by an employee of a local dealership. it was storld in a warehouse -- stored in a warehouse and shipped to newark, new jersey and shipped to the police say the investigation is on going and more arrests are expected. outside of police headquarters, chad perdelli channel 6 "action news." >> a young woman is fighting for her life after being hit by

a car in north philadelphia. police say this car hit her shortly after 9:00 p.m. on germantown avenue. the driver stopped and talked to police, the 29-year-old woman was taken to temple university hospital in extremely critical condition. philadelphia police are investigating a case of workplace violence at the potato chip factor. the driver and the assistant were returning to the factor when the assistants pulled the knife and stabbed the driver several times. the driver is in critical condition. the assistant is under arrest. the state senate has approved a stopgap budget bill that is expected to die on the governor's desk. democrats including the governor opposed the bill saying it keeps in place funding cuts to school and social services.

he signed an executive order that authorizes the use of the national guard. it allows the state to change traffic flow on roads. that i may be particularly relevant to camden since the ben franklin bridge will be closed to cars starting at 10:00 p.m. next friday. go to 6abc.com for all the details on the security and traffic restrictions it's all in a special section for news on the pope's visit. a teenager has been arrested in a double shooting. it happened here at 27th and snyder streets in the city's point breeze section last night. responding officers rushed the victims to penn presbyterian hospital. a 19-year-old woman and 16-year-old brother were shot, they are both in stable condition. a 15-year-old was arrested a short time later. police recovered the gun allegedly used in the shooting. meanwhile, police are looking for the gunman in a deadly shooting last night in north philadelphia. it happened at 9:15 on the 2600 block of north 7th street.

a 34-year-old man was hit several times. the victim has not been identified. from our delaware newsroom, new castle county police mounted patrol has been deployed in wilmington's rod knee square. it comes in response to a murder. thomas cunningham was stabbed to death when he stepped in to protect a mother and baby from a knife-wielding attacker. his sister marie simon-pierre talked to "action news" as his -- his sister talked to "action news." >> he was a helper. i don't want nobody judging him because of how my brother dressed or what he listened to it's the clothes don't make the person, it's the heart. my brother had the biggest heart. police urge drivers to remain vigilant after an arrest of a suspect for the shootings along the arizona highways.

forensics linked his weapon to the crime. police say it's possible there may be copycats. nobody was seriously injured in the shooting, but a 13-year-old was hurt by flying glass. authorities in massachusetts have identified the little girl known always baby doe as bella. her body was discovered stuffed into a bag on a beach near boston. hadder mother's boyfriend is charged with murder. the little girl's mother is behind bars. >> we alleged that mccarthy caused bella's death that he did so intentionally, that he and bond took specific stems to keep bella's death a secret and to avoid prosecution. >> bella's body was found june 25th because no one ever reported her missing. police used a computer generated image to help find out who she

the difference compared to the last several days that felt beautiful, wonderful. we have changes to the forecast of course you can see the rain starting to build across the ohio valley and the great lakes states. a canadian cold front that will drop the temperatures tomorrow afternoon. come monday and tuesday, 89 highs will be in the mid 70s. that will feel pretty nice. we have temperatures in the 30s and 40s across the high plains. that will charge south and east over the next few days. forecasted high we'll add two to three to that number. most areas should be around 82 to 85. watch what happens we get into sunday, overnight tonight the front slides through, sunday afternoon the model has us down to 77. monday it gets lower and tuesday it gets lower and we drop off until we bottom out upper 40s, low 50s, monday morning. jersey shore, atlantic city, 79.
