in the cuban city, but he celebrated the 62nd anniversary of the day he decided to become a priest. tomorrow he will travel to washington, then new york before he comes to philadelphia on saturday for his historic weekend visit here. philadelphia schools will are closed monday because of the pope. the district made that announcement tonight. the decision also means spring break will be shortened. classes will now be held monday, march 21 at a make-up day. also because of the jewish holiday of yom -- and that means tomorrow is the last day of school in philadelphia for a week. and annie mccormick and dann cuellar on the francis beat. and annie live outside of the basilica of saints peter and

pradelli is live at children's hospital where the doctors tried to save his life. >> when a child jumps into oncoming traffic it's going to end pad -- badly. i saw video of the accident through a source and it is extremely graphic and disturbing. the paratransit vehicle ran over 2-year-old muhammad sylla. and the video captured the incident showing the boy ran into the road and knocked down by the left front tire. >> i saw the video. it is hard to watch, very graphic and very sad. and it is a tragedy. >> i saw him run foot treat and boom, the truck hit him. all i saw is the baby was laying on the curb. >> the boy's father and another relative were outside when the accident happened. they were working on this yellow
