the evening rush hour. >> it's super soggy out there, extreme warmth and humidity, 81 in philadelphia and 81 in millville and upper 70s for the lehigh valley and wilmington 79 degrees, if you take a wider look you see this pipeline of moisture and low pressure is in the tennessee valley and it will work west of pittsburgh overnight tonight and that is where it takes several inches of rain with that track of low. and we'll get a decent amount of much needed rain and this is a good thing coming and future tracker showing at 10:00 spotty downpours around the region and it turns steadier and heavier at the midnight hour at 2:30 in the morning and you can see brighter colors south and east of philadelphia and north and west of allentown unreading and left over pockets of heavy rain forbe the morning rush at 10:30 and steady rain in the morning pull as way and tomorrow afternoon

cloudy and still warm with spotty showers around. as we look at the rainfall totals, it's brighter and more expected north and west with the track of the low, in philadelphia, an inch or a little more as you head towards the coast, a quarter inch of rain and some areas could see a half inch including dover and as you get into the lehigh valley and the poconos and reading 2.5 inches of rain and then tropical storm joaquin with winds sustained at 45 miles per hour, it's due east of the bahamas right now by 425 miles and as we look at the track, it is slowly going to drift around this region through saturday now, with winds sustained at 70 miles per hour, and it's still far removed from our region at the beginning of the weekend and it drifts off the carolinas here on sunday morning, we are still not within the cone of uncertainty even by the end of the weekend,

dozens of students at high schools staged walkouts once again today, this is the second day they have done this, yesterday 400 from the public cools and 100 from the charter schools just left classes, they were led by a charter school teacher that was demanding the resignation of the superintendant as well as the student voice on the school board, first responders from across south jersey got a special thank you from the camden diocese. ♪ ♪ bag pipers accompanied the color guard in blackwood at saint agnus, emergency teams from six counties and all faiths took part and the mass honors those that serve as well as fallen

as we look at double scan live radar most of the area is dry at the present time, rain that opposed through is now lifting northern of allentown and north of easton, as you see near martins creek and chatman heading towards the poconos, before the rain fills back in later tonight and early tomorrow morning. it is extremely muggy out there and that is helping to enhance the rainfall totals over the next 12 hours, 81 in millville and 80 in philadelphia and 72 in allentown it dropped there because of recent rain and that

will kick back up and 77 in dover and sea isle city 75 degrees, the moisture is gathering to the north and west and a cold front draped between toronto. and that will lift to the northern and west and that means the rain will be near that low as you go farther away in the central part of pennsylvania, at 8:00 tonight, rain in the poconos and the lehigh valley, south and east, and it fills back in midnight and thereafter, and maybe the rumble of thunder north and west. and early tomorrow morning at 8:00, as we head to work and school there are lingering downpours and showers as we start to lift away into the afternoon tomorrow, it's cloudy and dropping humidity with scattered lighter showers through most of your wednesday, and expected rainfall totals through at least wednesday morning, philadelphia south and east a half inch to inch and a half of rain and as you lifts north of the pennsylvania turn

took to the west. and tropical storm joaquin, winds sustain 45 miles per hour and moving to the west at 5, and 450 miles east of the bahamas and it will reach around this region for the weekend, it's still very far removed from the delaware valley and winds at 70 miles per hour and it tries to lift to the north. and we are uncertain where it could. what is going happen here is we have an upper level low that will stall near atlanta, that is a negatively tilted trough and that will syphon in the moisture so we'll get heavy rain despite that joaquin will stay off the coast. it's indirect effects because of
